A step by step tutorial on how I made these 3 Christmas personages using fondant! I used my regular vanilla cupcake recipe and vanilla buttercream, I will be sharing a video to show you a simple trick to flatten cupcake tops that works best for these cupcake toppers!
Here are some tips and the items I used:
1. Use water to attach fondant pieces together
2. I used fondant from Satin Ice in white, red, and brown. All other colours were achieved by colouring the white fondant.
3. The knit mold is from www.nycake.com
4. For the cheeks I used a pink lustre dust
5. Gold paint is lustre dust mixed with alcohol from www.christinesmolds.ca
6. Mistletoe mold is from www.nycake.com
7. White dots on the reindeer is colour mill in white
8. Everything drawn in black is simply gel food colouring with a drop of alcohol.
