I think it worked out that your first attempt didn't go quite as planned, because cutting her silhouette out of the poster instead of having the background with it looks even more amazing. Great job!

A reason why you ended up with bubbles under the paper, was because you used too much glue. Probably, if you used spray glue, you may have a better work.

The first thing I would do is take a piece of furniture out of my grandson's room and cut up a poster of his favorite college football team and paste that onto the furniture. Next, I would take one piece each out of both of my granddaughter's bedrooms and get a Disney Princess poster and glue that onto their furniture. And what Disney characters would I use? The girl's from the movie Frozen, of course!

I love this idea! You did a great job! I would use Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's poster and paint the dresser a robin egg blue :)

I love the end result! So glad you stuck with it to come up with such a cool item! I know about Mod Podge and the way it works on large surfaces. The same 'bubbling' thing happened to me. There is a product out now that is supposed to not do that called Glue and Seal by Ranger, it comes in matte and gloss. It is on my list for this weeks' purchases too. I want that squeegy tool you used too. TFS!

Coming from someone who has watched 20+ videos on how to do this.... This is by far the best and most informative! I also am obsessed with this idea (and my bedroom is all marilyn with silver and crystal furniture. 🤔🤔🤔) But for real THANK YOU! I've been refurbishing a vanity for over a year now. I'm a huge makeup Junkie and Jeffree star is my absolute favorite makeup brand. I have a BUNCH of tissue paper that is black and white with his tattoos all over and I want to make that my shelves that run in the middle of my vanity (it's painted pearl, with black hardware and the chair is pearl and royal blue) so im nervous as frack BC im pretty sure I have JUST ENOUGH paper for both shelves. 😬😬 This video has seriously helped me out though really!!!! Sorry for being all long winded and emotional and junk 😜🤗🤗🤗🤦‍♀️

That was very clever, and it looks great! Personally I don’t know that I would go through all of that but I think some other cute ideas would be… Keeping with a classic theme: The Marx Brothers Fred Astaire with Ginger Rogers Judy Garland Gene Kelly …any of the classic movie stars. For Kids: H.R. Pufnstuf - or any of the Krofft characters The Jetsons / The Flintstones Handy Many Scooby Doo Personally I hate most of the modern cartoons so naturally I’m not really going to mention them however that is just my personal opinion. Theatrical: CATS Phantom of the Opera - Any other Broadway show or perhaps a performance your son or daughter was in. Just have the picture blown up to poster size and apply. Sci Fi: Doctor Who - I think a TARDIS would look fantastic on a dresser. Star Trek Star Wars …and so forth.
