I'm showing you how I DEEP CLEAN my kitchen without dreading it! I do this by moving fast and breaking it up into two parts. This first part of deep cleaning will show you how I deep clean all of the outside parts of my kitchen - the floors, countertops, cabinets, etc. Then next time, I will move on to deep cleaning the inside parts of my kitchen. I love the feeling after a good deep clean and I hope this will help motivate YOU to deep clean your kitchen!

For the microwave trick, I normally put an orange peel in the water. Once I am done cleaning the microwave I run it down the garbage disposal. Then they both smell so fresh and bright for super cheap/quick.

Yes, I've been working on deep cleaning my kitchen for some time now. It's been a lazy schedule with a torn acl and some back issues. I will get it done though. I need to get some of that Meyer's multi-surface cleaner; eventually, and one of those steam mops. One day at a time...lol. _There's nothing like a clean home._ Thanks for the in-depth video. :D

I have the same stove as you.. I just put some dawn on steel wool and scrub it realquick. It’s really not hard at all.. definitely my favorite thing to do when cleaning kitchen. And then I take one paper towel and while it off and spray with glass cleaner and then done. It’s easier for me than using baking soda because the soda gets stuck in the crack and then you gotta go in a get that out. Love this video!! Time to go clean now!

Awesone vid. That's a great idea to use wax paper on top of the cabinets. Ours have a rough texture and are really difficult to get clean lol. May have to give that a try! You might like E-Cloths (or Norwex, but they're crazy expensive), which are really good microfiber cloths. Even though I never got into microfiber cloths before nor got all the fuss about them, these have been a life and major time saver for me, and they're good for all sorts of uses and pick up dirt great. I really hate cleaning but also know it's easier to clean what's already clean, but the cloths help me get a lot done with little to no effort. If I had to pick my all-time favorite cleaning product or gadget, it would be them lol. I use them for counters (unless dealing with huge mess or raw meat--they'd work fine, but I'd have to wash it sooner), mirrors/glass, they're great for windows, the microwave, fridge, dusting (barely damp), doors, switches, cabinets (takes me maybe 3 minutes to the kitchen), and pretty much everything else, save for the toilet since I'm paranoid lol (they allegedly pick up bacteria and don't transfer it; you just rinse with hot water). With these, you just use a little warm water, rinse when finished, toss them in the washer when they're officially dirty, lightly dry them, and occasionally rinse/soak them with vinegar water before drying them to prevent detergent buildup. There are all-purpose kits also come with a polishing cloths that you can get online, such as Amazon, and while there not the cheapest, they're easily washable (think up to 350 washes, depending on the type) and really do an excellent job. I also like saving on paper towels and cleaning product a little too. Other types are also available. I found it useful to buy a few kits or to start with two, matching a room/use by color (i.e. green for kitchen, orange for dusting, pink for bath areas etc.), so I can switch out every 2-3 days or as needed. I do use cleaners and traditional cleaning tools on my main cleaning days for things like counters and disinfecting, though I don't really need to doh. I mostly just like the smell and am conditioned to think it's better lol. I guess the cloths feel faster because they pick everything up in virtually one swipe and I don't have to spray and wipe constantly. They're particularly good on glass stove tops, which also drive me nuts and is why i thought I'd mention it lol. Ours is glass but also with grates, which i hate. So I felt your pain. 😌

OMG I just got rid of my dyson that is just like yours, figured I would treat myself to a new one, my older one was so much better, it worked amazing for 12 years. The new one is very cheaply made and while it works just as great, it's poorly constructed. I need some of that all purpose spray!!

Everyone always asks me about my Dyson but it's no longer made! I never see anything else with it! This vacuum is a work horse! lol We got it 8.5 years ago and since we had a cat and a shedding dog, it gets used A LOT! I hate how heavy it is but I hate to complain since it's such a good vacuum!

I've never tried but I've heard of making a baking soda paste, with water, and then spraying some vinegar and water solution over it. That should create a good solution to clean the grout! I hope that works for you!

Why do you cook water with vinegar in the microwave? 5-7 minutes? How do you know you have to do this?

Margaret K I have never added vinegar, but you are basically just steaming the inside to loosen up the gunk inside. Then it wipes off super easy

That's a perfect answer! Thank you for answering! Yes! You could just use water or add water and vinegar for some added cleaning power. Most of the stuff in the microwave should wipe right off!

It's not to "kill" anything. It is to just make wiping the baked on food spills easier to clean up, without needing to use chemicals or hard scrubbing. We have a microwave cover that we put over food to stop splattering, but messes happen lol

I don't mind cleaning but, of course, there are things that I don't love to clean. I don't love vacuuming. Or there are some days where I don't feel like cleaning. But I love the feeling of a clean house so usually power through!

I always thought that before I had a glass top stove but now that I have it, it's so frustrating to clean! It's a lot easier in the fact that i don't have to remove anything from the glass top to clean it, but even a drop of boiling water on the glass top will be a pain to clean!

You spray soapwater and wipe. Do you ever rinse your cloth? I'm not being mean just asking. I'm still using a bucket of water myself. I feel like without rinsing you're just spreading whatever is on the surfaces.

This is considered deep cleaning? This is how I do it every week. Including scrubbing baseboards, door frames, fan blades, window frames and sashes and ledges, light fixtures, including bulbs... takes me 8 full hours to clean my 1700 SF house. Every week.

Im only at the start of this video, however how is cleaning hair on the floor, filthy stove and disgusting coffee maker considered deep cleaning when in fact should be done DAILY...but ok
