Out of the few spray paint and skull vids I've seen, yours is definitely the best. I've watched a lot of hydro dipping videos, and your technique is definitely more like the professionals. And thanks for showing the finished product! For some reason nobody does that in these videos
I've done this a few times with metallic points on a dark base for PC parts such as graphic card plastic fan covers and case cooling fan nacelles. Very important to seal your dried parts with a clear spray or your work will attract and hold onto all kinds of dust.
I was just going to leave a comment about Ultimate NJ Outdoorsmens cool Deer skull coloring project. Then...I saw these 2 iggits spouting their unnecessary jesus bs where it probably isn't wanted!
* Sinister laugh * Looks like I sparked a fire under someone! I sure hope U're joking - Truth? Reality? & Wisdom? That hypocritical book U delusionally follow is quite the opposite of those 3! I DO walk in Darkness, deception, & denial of nonsensical bs!
It actually looks frigin awesome dude, just subbed. I might try this some time now that I know I can do it cheap and dont need any special equipment, thanks man!
this is fantastic, i know you gotta be quick on that paint, i collect skulls have many to dip! lol def trying this. i do a lot of bone carving and antler carving, but some skulls i would love to do something with. in fact i have an impala skull with the full antlers that would look amazing with this!! nice video, liked+subbed.. :)
will do!! i will do a test as i have a few small animal skulls and half a cow skull before i attempt the impala as i do not want to ruin that. if all goes well i'll do a video for that one, i'll credit you for the idea and upload it in my vlog. time frame might be a bit - few other projects in works atm. but i will def let you know so you can check it out :)
TIP: use luke warm water to dip. for some reason cold water will cause the paint to harder on the surface. If you do use cold water you've gotta be quick, if you use warmer water you'll have more time to focus on the details like patterns in your mix.
as a hunter i normaly bury the bucks skulls and toss the doe. but this is a brilliant idea. i never knew how the process worked and has no idea it was that simple.i wounder if this can be done with valve covers and if so how durable it would be.
