for some reason i dont even have the option to move items from my external drive to trash and when I drag them to trash nothing happens. checked and i do have write and read privileges
Hey, I have 'read and write' on my folders and files, but theres still no option of moving items or folders to trash, neither in the right click menu, nor by dragging into trash.
I only have the permission to "read only" for privileges to delete items thus the Move to Trash button doesnt show up. I dont see the option to switch to Read & Write. Did i miss a step?
@@TechandDesign I have! I've watched a number of your videos on this and they're super helpful. Still having the same problem, it seems that once i use time machine to back up my computer it converts my permissions to read-only. I dont have the option to change or override permissions unless i wipe the ssd again.
