How to delete OBS ford smog pump

Good job on the video. For OBD2 it does throw and eng code of P0411. I have a 96 f150 and I deleted the smog pump and check eng light came on.

Really really like the video thank you anything more on the 1990 F-250 460 I greatly appreciated had the truck over 10 years I think I blew a head gasket foaming out of the radiator foaming so I guess I'll be doing the head gasket soon thanks

I have a 86 460 Big Block that is in a E350 motor home. The catalytic converter was sawed out before I took it on as a project and I have been replacing parts like water pump etc. I ran into the smog pump and I was like......Do I need this? Looks like that is a no. Which is going to save me ALOT of time and money. Just gonna get me an alternator bracket replacement and get rid of this thing and bridge where the cat convert was. This baby is LOUD when the pipes been cut. Lol

What are the 2 little canisters with the red vacuum lines going to them for? I just purchased on of these trucks with this set up. The check engine light is on. I see the connector like yours, but no canisters

The top bolt on mine did not come out. It bent the bolt and stripped the threads in the pump. I can't get it out now and not sure what to do. Thanks a lot.

What benefits are there to removing the smog?

Did you end up removing the purge valve or cap it or something? Just did the delete and after i removed one of the charcoal cans the purge valve is just hanging there.

The light might not be on but if you run the factory code check you'll see that it will spit up a code

Do you happen to have the metal lines that connect from the catalytic to the air injection system?

Do you know what the 2 cans are with the red vacuum lines? I’m guessing even with the smog pump removed I still need these??? Please help, I’m desperate.

did you remove the air tubes on the exhaust manifold or leave them there ?
