sorry but the word of deceptive is a little bit more than critical as a description towards the thumbnail , the reason why i've used this thumbnail is because of users with small screens like mobile phones, i wanted to make the pixels visible for them too even if they recieve it on the smallest size ever , as for me the thumbnail is nothing more than a representative preview of the main idea wich can't be simply represented in any other way than this , and sorry , if i had the option to provide each user with a specific thumbnail size to respond to each user's screen resolution then it would be easier for me to correct this deceptive inconvenient.

Hdesigntutorials thanks I'll try it. After 5 calls to Google (have a Nexus 6p) they have me load pic to Google, save to my PC, upload to a site, then change the size. It takes 5 min. a pic...pain!

WTF! Why in the hell are you doing all of that? If you have Paint Shop Pro you can resize to any size.... Am I missing something?

i think this will make things look more soft and blurry after increasing the resolution , that's why i am not adding any filters on the image until it's big enough as i need it to be , so that i can decide then the amount of noise reduction to apply on the final result, while keeping in mind that image resampling is adding a little bit of blurriness to the image , also in the first place when you add noise reduction Photoshop will apply the filter and will process pixels which contains wider square dots on the image and that filter treatment will become bigger after enhancing the resolution , while adding any filters after increasing the Resolution will affect pixels containing smaller square dots which occupying less image data , which means less destruction and more filter definition.

@@Hdesigntutorialscom I hear you. Absolutely... I just could not get the noise reduction to be aggressive enough after I had enlarged the image... But I also did enlarge as much as 3 times, so... Fiddled around alot and added some more sharpening in the end to soften the somewhat blurriness you mentioned. When I come to think of it I did increase the image size first and applied filters afterwards, and after that I increased resolution from 72 to 300 dpi, I think since I increased resolution so much I couldn't get the filters to attack the right surface area and had to do it before the final resolution enlargement... My comment should rather read: If you are enlarging enormously it could be beneficial to first enlarge maybe halfway, apply filters, and then complete enlargement, and apply filters again... Cause I don't think there's any settings to choose surface area of attack in Noise Reduction... Or am I wrong?

for a simple , easy and clean work flow i suggest that you increase the resolution once not twice if you can't get the noise reduction filter to work effectively you can try applying the filter for two times , or you can even use the noise reduction filter in camera raw filters it's more powerful and of course you can add the filter to specific areas on the image by using masks or faded selections.

images are clean when displayed in its real size , the problem is when you need to zoom in a little bit you start realizing that the image becomes pixelated, so the tutorial can help if you want to scale up for a larger print size or if you want to zoom in to a specific part of the image and show more details.
