Thank you so much for this easy instructions , the one from Smeg was hard to understand and the amber light always illuminated after i did the rinse cycle , with you video the sound was clear so i managed to hear the difference between both cycles ..very grateful :)
Same here. I kept reading and rereading the instructions ... completely confused until I watched this video ... that you must re-press the steam button for a rinsing sequence!
Great video!!! Thanks 🙏, can you please mention the descaler you used? Brand and proportions of water, I bought durgol and didn’t work, still red light flashing
The same here, I have already cleaned 3 times, and it didn’t work. The Amber light is still flushing. And when I try to make coffee, the most of the water running through the steamer :(
Wondering if delonghi Decalk solution would do the job. Knowing that SMEG is just disguised delonghi in terms of the internal hardware, it should work just fine right?
Hi just wondering I just purchased the machine how often do I need to clean it also can you just do it with water I heard that chemical some people say they can taste it after they have cleaned it
I noticed when i used it on a daily bases after 2 months amber light illuminate but it all depends on how much you use it , always keep a descale liquid handy .. you can use any brand you like.
Yes, I love it - as much for its aesthetics as for its great coffee-making abilities. It's a quirky machine in some regards but that's part of the charm...
I had it for the past 4 months now and i love it, it has a nice features the i didn't know about it like the fact it will remember how much you prefer the quantity of you single shot, and also You can adjust the temperature of your coffee to your preference ..and i have it in light green which is my favorite colour so i couldn't ask for better than this.
@@rabbit_RU-vid888 it might be a challenge to change the temperature as for me i found out about this settings 2 months after i bought it , it has three settings for the temperature , for me i can warm the milk in the frother part and it becomes super warm for me, i dont know what other people prefer maybe a lot like it when its super hot to touch!
I descale mine about every 6 months but it will depend upon how hard your water is. Watch out for the orange frother light; this tells you when it’s time to descale!
