I want to challenge you to redesign Seraphine, a “what if they focused on her runeterra form first” design. Heck you can even change her entire lore and where she comes from if you needed to.
YES yes yes! I had such high hopes for her! I understand that her K/DA version is so much fun and rlly cool, but it was so disappointing to see how much Sera fell through in her Runterra version. I hope they see this comment, it would be so much fun!!
since runeterra has many interesting creatures and kda itself even has a demon, void-human and kumiho, sera could be a fairy or a sprite. we’ve yet to see that in league, it’ll give her a much more iconic silhouette instead of that stupid stage and i can guarantee that video will blow up if he does it and more people will know of this amazing channel!

I like how if that Fiddlesticks skin was real, he'd basically always be staring at the player themselves. Fourth wall breaking, Psycho Mantis style. Spooky.
I like how the necklace on Fiddlesticks skin design looks a lot like the Millenium items from Yugioh, with the iconic golden eye. Dont know if that was intentional or not :)
The first skin kinda looks like it had something to do with the phyrexian, since it looks like it has phyrexian mana symbol on the forehead, as well the elesh norn neck parts.
I think another great addition to this "skin line" would be kindred, and Evelyn. since both of them are from the same time period as tahm kench, and fiddle. Kinda bringing all the lore together from the real legends of runeterra lore into this separate universe. Personally, I didn't think Camille fit this skin line, but it still looked amazing
If you need suggestions on what to add to the skin line, here are a few ideas -Yorick (his kit would synergize with the eldritch horror theme very well IMO) -Lissandra (gave me similar vibes cause of her head shape) -Kayn -Malzahar (If you can't tell, I like eldritch horror and minions)
I used to draw a lot in school, but since then I haven't done really anything. So this year I set my mind to learning it again (mainly for a hobby and not a job). I bought a pen display and have started learning. Haven't done anything but a few tattoo designs my friends have asked me to try. I'm going to get skill share and really start learning all I can in my free time. I'm a line art guy as well, and while I would love to venture into new forms, I think I will stick to line art till I get to where I was with it or better. Also, I'm a huge league fan too so watching these videos is always a great time, Loved these designs.
Sometimes when I do art, when I reach a certain point, I get this feeling of excitement and euphoria because it just looks so good. And while I was watching the drawing for Tom Kench's top-down model, I got a similar feeling because it looked amazing.
Even though I don’t play League if Legends, I love watching your design process. Also, my goal for this year is to improve my style. I want to go for something that is loose, yet feels intricate.
Watching TB Syken’s shorts about the character designs in League of Legends inspired me to come up with my own League OC, a butterfly turned humanoid and made sentient by feeding on a flower corrupted by Void magic, now she drains people, animals, and plants of life energy. I’m watching this video to come up with more ideas about how to design her.
I'm probably the only one looking for it, but seeing a Veigar redesign would be cool. I think he's the less yordle looking yordle, and the Omega Squad skin really makes me dream of a better evil fur-ball. I really admire your LoL works, such a big inspiration! If you ever wondered what champ to rework next I think Veigar is a good candidate :,)
Jack, sir, you have no idea how much of a blessing this video is for me: I have been trying to figure out how the HECK I was supposed to find that finished concept design style but had no idea what I was supposed to do to get that look, this video was super helpful. I'm an aspiring character concept artist and really enjoy your character design videos.
I really don't understand how you always manage to put such creativity and detail into your work while also making it so sound and comprehensible. Like. Big props is all I can really say. I've loved your work for a while now and I'm so glad to see you stepping out of your comfort zone. Cause imma be real. It looks just as good as your other stuff to me, if you hadn't pointed out you weren't used to it I never woulda guessed.
I don't know anything about League of legends, but I absolutely love you're redesigns (especially Fiddlesticks and Tom kench as I love the way fiddlesticks looks and Tom is is incredible fancy)
This is really encouraging to watch for me. I also have a style that’s more focused on clean crisp lines with solid coloring but I really want to try a more painterly style. Seeing you push out of your comfort zone but specifically using something you love is inspiring and gives me so many ideas as to how I can push mine. Thank you for sharing. Also your designs are phenomenal 👏🏼
Please do more skin design challenges like this Jack! While I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing more Apoctober-themed LoL skins, I would be super excited to see you make some skins that reference your Mermay series! I absolutely LOVE your aquatic creature designs, and it would be cool to see some LoL champions take on those sort of characteristics.
I actually just got into League from watching your videos and Fiddlesticks and Tahm Kench have been two of my mains since I started. They need more skins Q_Q
Excited to see more painterly style artwork from you. In my opinion, redesigning characters/creatures from a pixelated/simplistic game in your own art style would be cool. Like redesigning Terraria bosses or among us characters, or anything else really.

The lineless look you experimented with in this video made me immediately think of Rare's art for their game 'Sea of Thieves'. Although obviously 3D models, the games' texturing and brushwork is quite satisfying to look at and in my opinion can be beautiful when not trying to be intentionally ugly. If you ever get the time, having a quick look might provide a bit of inspiration for how you might want to develop new ways of colouring. Thanks for all these great videos! Excellent Video as always!!! Really glad you gave Tahm Kench some love, he's probably my favourite league design (after cho'gath)!!! You also made fiddlesticks look great, and made Camille, a champion I don't particularly care for, look like something I'd almost crack a tenner out to buy! As for resolutions, I want to try and get back into the swing of drawing, especially digital as despite preferring traditional, I think that my digital art was starting to get better before I got obsessed with pixel art. I also want to diversify my pixel art! I'm starting to get good, but I'm always doing the same things with the same palettes, and this year I want to really get into new kinds of pixel art (mostly perspective and styles, but also being more daring with my animations). And yeah, just want to say thank you for all the awesome work that has helped me to continue doing art, especially the league series, bringing tropes I rather dislike from the game, (most notably Zyra, who is my least favourite design :/) Keep it up Subjectively!!!
Camille is lawful evil, but besides that, I really like the design. I dig the monstrous style and I trully think that Riot forgot it in order to move into more profitable niches.
Man riot should make a Dark Star fiddlesticks. W could have him draining entire solar systems or planets as you hear screams (like Oriannas recall). His E could look like it’s cutting through the night sky, his ult could be a chaotic display of stars, a black hole and screaming. While Riot is at it they should make Dark Star Urgot. His stomach could open up into a black hole and his legs could make black holes wherever he steps.
My primary goal for 2021 as an artist is less about my art itself but about marketing it, getting it out to people and make people notice it, but besides that, i'm trying to focus lesss on relying on lineart as well!
A thing for camille to keep in mind is she has a gemstone on her chest thst glows when she has her passive ready. You kind of forgot about that in your skin design.
Cultist of the Abyss Fiddlestick is simultaneously giving me Danzo from Naruto for the twisting eyes in arm and also corrupted Nephrite from Steven Universe, I super love it
I think you did really well! Maybe as an opposing outfit line, some more happier ocean feeling outfits. Something both opposite in color, feeling and design.
I loved all of these especially the fiddlesticks one! Just imagine him have his eyes closed and opening them only when he ults, even some of the popping off!!!
tbh no matter how frustrating league can be, it inspired me, seen their splash art intimidated me and made me feel like garbage compare to them, until I got into game art and concept art and learn that concept art isn't painting beautiful stunning pictures like their splash arts, but a simple sketch conveying the idea is sufficient, after learning that from one of riot's videos on how to make games, I got re inspired to pursue that goal.
6:54 Fiddlesticks is probably my favorite character, downright bone-chilling in lore, and voiced by Kellen Goff, the voice of Funtime Freddy, the man is very talented, especially with horror characters, they sound sadistic and intimidating, which as a horror fan, I love.
I think I like your Tom Kench skin the most. It has a really surreal vibe. I would love to see a continuation of this series. I actually want to get into League of Legends myself, and tbh, I think it would be really cool if you guys made a video about that. For 2021, I want to work more on making my own textures. I usually just Google a texture and overlay it onto my colors, but I don't want to feel as if I'm relying on other people's photos.

My resultions for 2021 are >Learning shading >Learning how to operate with watercolor brushes As of now I'm somewhat confident with sketches, shilouettes and coming up with designs, but when it comes to adding colors and depth I'm usually at loss. I've always loved drawing but I've never invested much time into "learning the ropes" properly, seeing these skins being developed this well was both impressive and a moral slap to my face as in "yo, you can do things like these if you apply a bit more, why are you not doing them?". Hence why I want to develop these skills, my drawings (it's not art, far from being considered as such) deserve better from me and I want to show myself that I can do if I apply.
I would immediately buy the Tahm Kench Skin, this is such an incredible design! I would start playing Camille with that skin and i would even get out of my Top/Mid Comfort Zone and start playing as a jungler with that Fiddlesticks Skin. Definitely hit my taste with this Cult theme!
i'm so obsessed with how you designed these! they're so gorgeous, and i love how you mixed aspects of both. in the funniest way, i actually think you'd really like the designs from the mobile/pc game identity v, especially their limited skins for their call of the abyss (i know!) event. you would probably like the variety in designs a bunch, since it seems super up your alley ^__^

I love your new rendering direction! I loved the old one too, so it’s great to see that the new renders still feel like you-they’re clean, dynamic, and graphic designs that do an amazing job of using light and color to create form
this isn't a skin line i'd buy but would most certainly draw some attention to those that enjoy this "style" you stepped out of your comfort zone as you said and it shows...but for a foray into it you did great i love what you did w Gragar in your champion redesign and would love to see you do another in the coming months (yes this would include a lore rework as well if the champion needs it)
Im sooo hyped for the next Fiddlesticks skin that supposed to be this year. They also have a cosmic horror meats mafia city skinline coming up later in the year.

Yes please do more skins like this, and more in this like - with their opposing too. Annie and Ekko would certainly be interesting ones who could be part of it, though I'm curious to see what you will do and make. I myself am trying to figure out how to draw people better, but also animals in particular. I am very bad at it, and will certainly need to practice it in a variety of ways for perspectives and forms for those creatures. Anthropomorphic creatures, like werewolves, and other mythical creatures, are something I'm looking to use this practice to play with, partly so I can learn to draw new creatures to introduce to my D&D friends so they can see the horrors or simply the people that they might meet. Not doing great yet, but as long as I'm better by the end of the year, I'll be fine with that.
