Johnathon Whittaker You know I messed up my first wing. Since then, I’ve been doing commission wood spirits, but this afternoon, I am going back to start the second, larger set I cut out. I have always believed a carver has to make X amount of mistakes before producing something new. So, I’ve never felt badly when things don’t go well. And, those wings and carving pine are sure new to me. I’m used to wood spirits and basswood and cottonwood bark. Keep your fingers crossed! ☺️👍

Great teaching video johnathon it takes some studying to get to know what everything does but it's such a versatile tool I usually save the design on the a4 size and use a program called posteriza to make it larger which splits it into sections for you and shows cut lines too line them back up again

Hi Brian, are you clicking on each one individually? or perhaps, have you converted them yet? you can't group them unless they have all been converted to an image. hope that helps

The app I use for the images is called paint.net. you can find it on this link www.getpaint.net/ i use it for almost everything editing task I do. I am using fusion 360 for a cnc for wood signs. Fusion doesn't seem to work well with several lines of text. Looks like I can use in inkscape to create the sign as you did but would I make it a svg file to work in Fusion?
I am not familiar with fusion but I imagine you would have to make it an .svg file. I have had similar questions before on this topic and I think that alot of the cnc software and inkscape are incompatible. I would be interested to hear if your successful though

Hi Warren, did you have your image selected when you tried to print? Often if I am designing a larger sign, I export it to Microsoft paint and print it that way
