Many good tips. I must admit I needed them. My previous practice was to take a bunch of flowers home from the grocery store and then plop it in a vase with water, maybe pushing a few flowers to each side.

I moved to a new space that is larger than my previous home. I feel PARALYZED trying to figure out what to do. I definitely have a "style" but having a problem executing. I didn't come with much furniture but have plenty of decor items and textiles. The home also needs updates. Suggestions please!!
Don’t let this overpower you. Start with the space that you feel comfortable with and work your way out. I surmise you’re missing larger pieces because the smaller decorative items won’t really have an impact. Start shopping for large pieces that you can’t live without and your home will come together. As a professional florist of over 35 years, I hope that this trend in flower arranging, Soon goes away with all other trends. I know that this is popular right now but I find it to be very ugly. It looks like somebody sat on top of the arrangement and flattened it.
