Did soldered that antenna directly to the motherboard without connector socket? Did it work? I got mobile phone antenna connector socket come off motherboard, can that be fix like u did?
It's quite rare but occasionally it will cause the tablet to explode with such force it will turn your building you are in to dust.... be careful not to do that. what will really happen.. you will burn out your wifi circuitry and now you have a connectionless tablet.

I need to solder an antenna cable to the embedded antenna on a baby monitor camera board to increase the range, should I solder the center core to one end and the shielding to a different end of the embedded antenna ?
