I honestly get annoyed by the amount of people that call something like this Rice. Dude, i mean, have you seen the Quality of any of these Upgrades? Have you guys ever heard of Show Cars? Have you guys ever just, oh idk, modified a car simply because you thought it was cool? This isn't there to be fast on it's base level. Like, it's funny how a Car like this gets made fun of, but a GTR with 45° Camber and a Liberty Walk Kit is somehow cool. I guess people really forgot what it meant to personlise your ride. Also, the Car produces about 220 BHP he said. A Gen2 Smart is about 820-940kg.. with the upgrades he's fitted, i'd guess it's about 850kg.. that's still a good ptw ratio. And i mean, he's saying he's useing it as a fun car to drive on the weekend. Who cares if he could of fitted a bigger engine or tuned a diffrent Car. It's unique. Be happy that this isn't the 12 Thousand Nissan that's been tuned..
gtr with a lb kit is nice thats why not "somehow cool"? its a go to reference for a reason while this vehicle is a...cool idea for someone to do for fun its still not a pretty car nor a smart choice for going over the top with. And really show car?? no this is just a fun idea not something that would turn heads for a good reason. Lb works are kits that drop jaws so try and think of a better comparision
and people use similar vehicles like gtrs s200, supras, nsx etc. for a reason i get that you like unique but no one including you should or can compare this car to actual jdms they are a different class and called japenese dream machines for a reason this car looks like it would be a blast tho
I rarely hear anyone call a car "rice" who actually knows anything about cars, mostly just idiots trying to act like they know their stuff and spitting words they heard on the internet but have no idea what they mean...to them rice just means flashy looking even if it's a good look.

@@tywilliamson2472 first of all 210 hp is a lot for a car so small and light, second of all the slower you go the more aero you need, thats why f1 car which goes 300 km/h has a small aero compared to for example formula student where you go average 60 km/h. I dont thing that his aero is designed to function but if it would be than it would actually did a lot. Formula students wheelbase is for example less then 1.5m and it has about 60hp and the aero still does a biiiig diference. It can handle about 3G in a corner and the handling is really good.
You have done an outstanding job with your Fortwo. Very tastefully done and unique. I am considering a turbo for mine. Did you have to do mods to the ECU for the turbo?
Amazing build, unique. Turbo sounds are clear and blow off noises are sharp. Did you custom fab up the wide body? Also what kit other then meth are you running. Smart madness has kits but they are limited. Subbed!
I just picked up a 09 cabriolet and I am planning a full subframe up restomod wide body with twin turbo and straight piped. Still on the fence about wheels as far as size, was thinking 18”s but 17”s slammed on fully adjustable suspension. Also doing a disc break swap out of the original drum breaks. Any good suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I generally hate over the top street mods, they are 99% useless and all show, no go but this car.... Admitting, I would drive it, IN PUBLIC! This car is not something that would gain you points on your man card but its legit!

i dont see a issue with that, builing what you want does not always have to be cheap and done in the next 5 minutes. Its always nice to take you're time to plan it.
Speaking from a service perspective, how the hell do you check the oil? The oil cooler fan needs to be put on a thermostat also. As someone who knows a fair amount about these cars, I like what you have done.
i had a brabus smart years ago it was fun already with his 120hp but this thing is on another level so freakin awesome would like to test drive this thing :D
