Keep the shaft splines and release collar CLEAN and LUBRICATED!!!! That goes for ALL brands. If that collar has the slightest bit of dirt or corrosion inside the mechanism you will fight that for an hour to get it hooked up.
This is similar to Kubota, but years behind JD. I like all three brands and the loader on the 25S is a little beefier on the NH, but the quick connect on the Deere, both FEL and deck are better. I still like the 25S overall though, it's a nice non-Green or Orange tractor;-)
There is no drive over mower deck available for the Workmaster 25S. However, as demonstrated in this video, it is quite easy to install and remove the mower deck. Drive over style decks are convenient when they work correctly, but if the deck linkage bends or is out of adjustment, they can become a headache when trying to install or remove your mower deck.
And not everybody is going to be taking a mower deck off on a show room floor. I would like to see this performed under a lean-to with gravel as the floor
