The OBD-II fault code P0741 means that there is a performance issue or the Torque Converter Clutch is stuck off. The Torque Converter Lockup Clutch is responsible for creating a 1 to 1 RPM ratio between the Transmission Input Shaft and the Torque Converter, which eliminates power loss.

I have a 2001 ford ranger, 4.0 4x4 5r55e transmission. Ive change the torque converter, the silonid, the speed sensors all of them and then replaced the transmission. I still have the p0741 and overdrive light flashing. Im about to change the pcm, tcm and have it flashed. Or am i over looking something.

I don't think it's a good idea to change PCM. You may check TCC solenoid first, then TCM.

@Car-A-Z I already changed the tcc silonid, torque converter, speed sensors, transmission, and checked the wiringharness. I believe the tcm and pcm are built together. I could be wrong.

Okay, so it may the TCM fault. Try replace it.
