I always do a regen analyzer after all of repairs pertaining to exhaust.

Hi I have a 2015 kenworth with cummins and I need to know when to replace my dpf filter I am having to do a Region everything week Roughly do u think is time to replace it thanks

Great video dude. I wish all other states were like California when it comes to replace the DPF filters. I had mine replaced with junk remanufactured filters. The Kenworth dealership had to replace it 3 times . You pay all that money for junk remans. It’s cheaper to get the new one the remans will cost you more time and money.

I have an off typic question about the cummins ibs 6.7 2013 hoping you could help. My issue is erratic biometric pressure sensor error. That keeps keeping back. First it started with the crank sensor, positioning sensor, then biometric pressure sensor between turbo/ air filter, lastly I changed the map sensor. ( Note each time I cleared and changed those sensor some knew would pop up) After the last map sensor change light went out on its on but now the fault that comes back is Bio pressure. Any advice would be great.

At what pressure would you say it’s enough to call it clogged? Kinda got an idea what the temps should look like but I forget what I was told for the pressures… I think it was anything above… 3.4 bad?

When you replace DPF systems on 2013, 2014, 2015, trucks for example, are you getting the same crappy parts that caused them to fail or do you think these parts are revised or updated? I hear that the newer + 2019 trucks don't experience the same amount of DPF problems as 10 years ago so that makes me think if the company's supply better parts.

Best investment for dpf is to have filter cleaned yearly I own bought a spare filter to swap truck to truck well ones being cleaned

I have a Kenworth t680 with a Cummins I’ve had the filter clean intake manifold cleaned out new egr and some censors replace and some leaks founds and fixed but trucks keeps on doing a regen by itself everyday would you have any idea what could cause that daily regen ??

Could be the filter needing to be replaced. Maybe its not getting to temperature during regens due to bad fuel doser. Could need ecm update, those are important as well.

He is using a Nexiq vehicle interface adapter that can be purchased separately. You can buy Cummins Insite separately too. It’s a subscription and there are different Insite levels. Cummins sells its own adapter called “inline 7”. Very similar to the Nexiq unit. There is a company called Diesel laptops that can sell you a bundle, ready to work laptop with the adapter and software installed. Or if you already have a laptop you can use yours.

DOC, diesel oxidation catalyst. Its a component of the aftertreatment system, maybe even more important than the DPF itself cause it contains some precious metals that skyrocket the temperature from about 500 F to around 1000-1100 F... and without temperature to burn the soot, everything gets plugged up a lot faster.
