Great video. I own this car to now I now how to test and replace the glowplugs. I still own my older 1.4 bipper with 340k. Never had issues with glowplugs. Must say the 1.4 starts much quicker even without glowing. The 9 years younger 1.3 does not start or bad without glowing.
Hello mate great video. I have to do this to my nemo, no3 glowplug came up on my lexia. When you warmed up the engine, did you reconnect the wiring to the glowplugs while the engine was running . Thanks
Great video mate thank u, just a quick one please my nemo got the message (check glow plug) and has the coil flashing but won't start at all, can glow plugs cause the car not to start?
First class video. 👍👍 So clear and well explained. Good to know it can be done without removing the turbo or exhaust. I have the same dash warning on my Nemo with the same engine and I’m wondering whether to do it myself. I can now do the check on the relay to rule that out first. What kind of price would I expect from a garage for all 4 plugs?
@@themobilemechanic1992 where you located ? ( my 1st one - on the left looking at engine, is 90% the way out , but wont come out the reaming 10%! very annoying , been lubing it up like crazy for last week hoping! )
i have the check glow plug error, the way i found out which one is was without the fancy multi-meter, was just take the plug connections off & put a new glow plug on each one , and see if error clears . - i actually did them 1 by 1 - started left to right, and the 1st one cleared the error. telling me the 1st one was a dud - ( but did resistor test after just to double check )
