Not only do you have the Knowledge of Auto Repair but also the Knowledge of God. People like you are Bold and Beautiful because you're not ashamed to speak the truth of God and his Kingdom. I was Tubing ABS issues and God led me to your RU-vid channel, what a blessing. Peace my Brother and may God Bless you and everyone that you reach out to in this Life.

You are right on. That is why we don't trust those mother fuckers at the dealership. The #1 rule of thumb is the service/sales manager start talking about money you tell them that you would like to take your vehicle to get a second opinion. They are whole bunch of thieves just imagine if they fix car in the right way and not being so greedy they will kill all these little auto repair shops. Thank god we have people like you Oldskool funk teaching us. I have an old 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 V8-5.3L with all kind of troubles but I don't give up on and brought back to life. I love this truck just as much as I love my wife and kids so don't give up. I suck at fixing vehicle but big thanks to all these great RU-vid Videos.

I was able to do myself and save tons of money on the cheat ass labor by the dealership. One point I needed to make is that the dealership wanted to fix my 2001 GMC Sierra for $4700 but my truck is only worth about $1900 on Kellly's Bluebook so I refused and just pay the dealership the $200 for the diagnose - they are full of shit.

To all you who support what we do, Its an honor to know that we can do what we can to help you all out. We know what it is like to struggle financially thats why we put out our experiences and what we know to help you save money by doing all this stuff YOURSELF. If I can save money, Im going to share it with you. This job cost $55 to fix and that was the price for a set of new wires w/ a life time warranty on them. This Job in the shop would have cost you $150-$200 easily, Depends where you go and if they are a rip off shop. When I worked in the shop They (not me) use to charge $80 for one O2 sensor (((RIP OFF BIG TIME)) I did the work they made the rules. One time an elderly man had his car towed in to the shop. I diagnosed it in 5 min it was a loose alternator wire. The district manager of the shop wanted to charge him close to $100 bucks, I got mad and told the manager that was not cool (so we argued) and finally he let the elderly man go for free. When I told the man he started to tear up and explained how broke he was and I new from then on I had to help people from getting ripped off. My drive and passion behind these videos comes from a deep desire to help and educate the broke folkz. My ways might be unconventional and off the wall but it all comes down to one thing PRODUCING RESULTS THAT WORK. Remember this, You have the ability to help someone, you have been through storms and trials that have made you STRONGER, Now that you are stronger help some one get through the STORMS and HARD TIMES because God has allowed you to go through the experience so you can make an impact and SMASH THROUGH OBSTACLES and to show others how to SMASH IN LIFE. To the haterz, you are always welcome, Your negativity and pessimism will always be met with defiant optimism. Im not out to please you but to honor and stay committed to God, I understand a lot of your hate comes from a dislike in me talking about JESUS but you have nothing to do with what God has freed me from in the past, Therefore you will NEVER stop the Gospel of Jesus Christ from being glorified on this channel, if you are on this channel pumping your fist at God then you are in the right place. Stay tuned and we will show you how to BATTLE IT OUT in JESUS NAME Keep your heads up, Put Jesus Christ first and be a pillar of pure strength GOD BLESS.

Hey mate, can a broken head gasket cause a misfire p0300? I have a p0300 misfire. I inspected the engine and noticed a small amount of coolant. I was thinking maybe the head gasket sealed is broken by cylinder 1 and it is entering the piston chamber. I removed the spark plug from each cylinder and noticed only spark plug 1 from cylinder 1 was wet? My car has done 56,0000kms and the ignition coil pack is no good. I got the new part but still no good? I also have a leak underneath somewhere I think its engine oil I am not really sure. Could really appreciate your help. Thanks

Thank you for sharing this video. Sounds crazy, but I searched on youtube, hoping to find a short video on how to fix my '99 Dodge 1500's misfire issues. I could of brought it to my dad, he's a retired mechanic. But I thought, he would spend hours trouble shooting, and I don't have time for that. After watching your video, I realized I need to make time for that. I'm in the middle of throwing random parts at my truck so I can get to work. That time could of been better spent learning from my dad, and eating a good home cooked meal from mom. I'm 49 yrs. old, so I guess you can teach an old dog, new tricks. God bless you and your family.

@aaronphx420
@aaronphx420 8 лет назад
Easy fix, keep the vehicle running and disconnect one coil pack at a time and if the vehicle runs worse when you disconnect the coil pack then move on to the next one but when it stays the same you found your source. Then you have to determine whether or not it is fuel or spark and which part it is, usually it's the wire or coil pack. But anyone can do it with a little knowledge.

Thanks for the vid. A faster check is to use a test lead on ground and pull the wire at the coil and check for spark. Keep it close to the tower. Don't use battery negative in case you get shocked. No need to swap coils at all. You can diagnose coils in 5 minutes. If its wastespark always check the companion cylinder to ensure it isn't a control issue. Hope this helps. God bless

Thank you for your reply. I surrendered my life in 2013 on that very spot you seen me work on that Tahoe. I cried and laid all my sins, anxiety, alcoholism, cigarettes, Anger, bitterness,wicked ways and worries at the foot of the cross late at night when I was supposed to go get my hard liquor, malt liquor and pack of smokes. Instead, God stopped me dead in my tracks before i hopped in my truck. As God probed my heart I KNEW IT WAS TIME I prayed for hours asking him to free me from my dark ways I was shaking and anxious because I wanted my daily poison but as i prayed God comforted me and after a long intense battle with my flesh and the evil spirits i had around me God delivered me from the addiction THAT SAME NIGHT. I have been sober since 2013 and havent stopped preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since then. God is probing your heart, let him by REPENTING and getting BAPTIZED and watch how blesses your life and restores your soul. God Bless you and get ready to be VICTORIOUS IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME.

Hey, I love that you inserted scripture at the beginning of the video and also that you are taking time to show a youngster the enjoyment of working together on a vehicle. I literally enjoy working on my truck, replacing broke components, fixing stuff, and maintaining it. No one knows my truck like I do and this will probably be my last vehicle. I just wanted to comment because what we leave behind lives on through the younger folks and it seems that it matters to you what you leave behind. I know for sure we need more people with this perspective. I just saw on the news of a young man that completely gave up on this world and walked into an elementary school today. This is all our faults that we have an entire generation of lost children that feel they have no place in this world. We need to try to at the very least start treating others as we would want to be treated and not how we think they deserve. Well, just wanted to say I admire your efforts.✌❤

Great tip on using the old spark.plug boot to get your hard to reach spark plug started.

Great video, PTL (I am going to check out that vapor maker video you mentioned next. I can certainly use one). I have a question and/or comment about when you put that : - "loose" plug back in (near the beginning of the video) and Regarding the "loose plug" I couldn't tell if you used any sort of an ANTI-SEIZE compound on your spark plugs? I just wanted to add a helpful "my .02 cents" to installing the compound on any spark plug. Anti-seize can help ease with future plug(s) extraction (AND potentially save DIY-ers $100's, because it helps ensure that plug threads never binds up in the threaded part of the head,.Possibly stripping out the head cylinder hole or breaking as a seized up plug). Just my .02 cents. I personally have used the compound ever since the late 80's due to the different metal types of heads. It both helps lube the threads for easier spark plug installation and/or later removal. Plus the anti-seize compound prevents the 2 bi-metals: the steel plug threads vs. the "heads made of different metals/alloys threads", from binding or seizing together. (IRONICALLY the same dude that introduced me to anti-seize compound FORGOT to do it JUST ONE TIME, on his own Chrysler van's spark plug change. His SUBSEQUENT spark change a couple years later gave him a highly UNWELCOMED, $300+ wake up call. One spark plug hole STRIPPED OUT when the soft head metal adhered to all the threads of the steel spark plug. His van required a Heli-coil re-threading. Adding insult to injury, the re-threading was on one of the hardest-to-reach, REAR, spark plug cylinder holes). To alert other DIYer car mechanics out there that might not be aware, I just wanted to spare them any $300 repair (like my friend experienced). At just $3.00 a tube (enough for a several spark plug changes) for ANTI-SEIZING compound. It's cheap insurance by applying to the new spark plug threads BEFORE installing them. Can prevent stripped or broken plugs later down the line. Just my (hopefully helpful) .02 cents. PTL and Keep up the good informative videos. Much appreciated.

I got the message of misfiring in our life and how we need to fix it. As well as the misfiring in our vehicle. Do the right thing and both would run great.
