These "How to Dial in..." videos come in super handy when, like myself you own most of the Neural DSP Plug-ins. Because with all the options at my disposal it's very convenient to have each Plug-in summarized in videos you can come back to. Remember all the stomp boxes that are emulated in the plug-ins don't all function the same. 2 Delay or Chorus stomp boxes will have very different features. Not to mention the Amps themselves, with some of them having Push / Pull knobs - it's easy to forget which amps have that and which do not, which have attenuation....etc.

I’m so glad to see the doubler effect update on this. I’ve had to manually set the delay pedal to get the same effect for jamming.

Your products are beyond amazing! They sound great, have a wonderful interface and it shows how much love and work you put into them! It would be extremely amazing if you'd do Archetype: Adam Jones from Tool, and an amp plugin concerning the Verellen Amps in the future (so we'd be able to recreate sounds from Russian Circles, etc..). Those amps are so rare and impossible to get. The best reason to create them digitally! Maybe Ben could help you out with physical models! Would be an insta buy for me!

NDSP is lightyears ahead of everyone else. with an amazing team and all the explainations on how to use the products.. the value composition is unreal. Amazing work as always!! DIGITAL JOHN!!!

Just installed the update and I am thrilled with how little CPU this new version requires compared to the older version!

This was a very pleasant surprise. My most used NDSP plugins with Tone-King and Cory Wong. It'll be great when the others get this new look and the other upgrades. If I could afford it I would by the Morgan suite as it's superb.

I'm still pretty new to mixing, and I've had a lot of problems with my guitar tone. Who doesn't obsess? I've got a decent amount of amps and plugins, and some of those are really great, but something about the gain structure of this thing. I think it's the best plug-in I've ever heard. I really wish the phaser had a mix knob, but that is not even close to a big deal. The hot amp is just awesome. I have other 5150 plugins but they don't compare it to this. I will most definitely be getting the granophyre and Soldano plug-ins. And yes, intro track sounds fantastic. Good job john!

41:19 tl;dr: What's the difference between the Output on the amp, and the Output on the UI? Long version: Does the Output knob of the amp itself not affect the gain/saturation structure? Is it *only* an output volume, hence, the exact same as the output knob on the top right of the UI? In some other Neural amps, I've used the relationship of Master and Level to create different kinds of amp responses. Less Master, more Level = cleaner and more articulate, and vice-versa = fuller and more "glued". Is that not the case with Gojira/Gojira X?

@NeuralDSP Do I really need a MIDI Expression Pedal for the Gojira pedal things or can I also use my NDSP expression pedal by Mission Engineering? I also have a Quad Cortex. So can I use my expression pedal for controlling plugins?

I've always wondered what pedal the distortion is based on. It's obviously a RAT-style circuit, but it doesn't sound like a typical RAT. I haven't found any info on Joe using RAT-style pedals either so. Maybe a Turbo RAT or You Dirty RAT?

If it’s already compatible with Apple’s silicone can we aspect a version for iPad? I want to play with these plugins on the go without carrying a notebook with me. iPad + Apogee + headphones all in the guitar bag sounds awesome for travel. I think there is a huge market opportunity here. I would buy these plugins for sure. Bias fx 2 with dual amp and 20 effects all active use about 40% of the CPU so I don’t think processing power is a limiting factor. Cheers

Ay advice on handling feedback? I seem to get a lot of feedback and end up setting the gate at 3.00pm, which does affect the sound, which I'd like to avoid if possible.

Is there a way to sync the PHSR and CHR pedals with a tempo subdivision, IE 1/4 or 1/8 notes of the project tempo?

Thanks, I wrote to support for the update for this x version but it doesn’t work with my old version I download the installer for Mac and after running nothin changes and I cannot understand why the metronome it doesn’t appear too. Great video cheer’s.

HELP! I’m using a Scarlett 2i2/ESP guitar with EMG active pickups. I have the input on the Scarlett turned down as low as it goes. But every distorted preset in Gojira X sounds so overly distorted and not tight at all in Reaper. Even with a tight gate it sounds messy and bad. I bought new cables, replaced pickup battery… tried everything I can think of and I still can’t get a decent sound. Anyone have tips? please 🙏

Gojira X is nothing like the legacy, totally no headroom...not the same amp..its more less like a Petrucci abase etc, Boogie, Soldano, Fortin series are better now

just one suggestion: please, when you test hi-gain amp, don't play open D chord. we don't do that. play metal on E string as primary thing. thanks. otherwise, your presentation is great.
