It's called contract work. They get paid by the completed engine. So they work as fast as possible. If they were hourly this tear down would have taken a week.

Pakistani Trucker I just wish I could give you a thousand dollars worth of hand tools . If you had a full set of Snap on Tools these boys would be sending a man to Mars in a months time . In their world a tire is never beyond repair . It may take 4 tires to make one tire for them but they always get the job done ! Again Much Respect .

Thank you so much for watching. Important point you raise they should use power tools for time saving and comfort. I guess lake of awareness & also they can't afford for many reasons. Other thing is these tools are not easily available every where in country. Most of the mechanics start working at age of 10, 12 or 15 in these workshops with master. Still condition is improving day by day slowly. This engine was overhauled, unfortunately I did not managed to make complete video.

They don't need fancy tools that go wrong, they need reliable, solid gear they can repair, modify or replace easily if required. They. Are far more skilled than most mechanics as they make things last longer, after being worked harder and using primitive but effective tools

I didn't see any talent in this video. They stripped down a engine and didn't even do a good job. I wouldn't trust these guys to work on my lawn mower let alone a truck engine.

Those guys in the video...are doing what you could never do on your best day...and I am saying with you in a fully equipped shop with your tens of thousands of dollars of Snap On tools in a roll around as big as my van... And they are doing it consistently day in and day out...Obviously you have never been anywhere or seen anything...There is a whole big world out there...with millions of talented people just doing what you can't day after day....

@@stevebell4906 Why are you trying so hard to defend them and the quality of work they are doing? If the engine blows in your van who are you going to take it to? A skilled mechanic or somebody who just changes oil? The guys in the video are just the help, not the skilled mechanic.
