i had a really bad meniscus tear 6 months ago and the doctors had to take the half meniscus out because it was cut from blood stream for too long. I'm pretty much fine again but they said that arthrits in my knee sooner or later is inevitable. What can i do?
Good question @Jozipp20. Studies show that after knee surgery, arthritis occurs sooner compared to people who did not have surgery. In that situation, I always tell my patients to keep their knees lose by stretching your quads, hamstrings, IT band and to keep their leg strong using strengthening exercises for their quads, hamstrings, VMO, and even their gluts muscles. Eating healthy and taking joint supplements can help as well. I hope you find these helpful.
