I think that headbutts should not be a thing for para or cory as really it would break the weak structure and is just so dumb like it would hurt them and I don't know why u would not just say a tail swipe from side to side so it would be like a horse so for the front it is not strong but when it running it has a kick when u close and the tail for the back and get rid of one and add iguanodon like come teno is not the same

@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx prior extinction on robloxt gave para a back legs kick that can only be used when immobile that does like almost three times as much damage than the front kick.
someone posted a list of evrima dinos(cory was on the list) and the guy asked kissen if this was the full roster,kissen said yes it is and when i asked her about cory she didnt say hes not coming so we can assume he is,also i love your profile picture.

I think the seismic communication idea would work better for Para. They could use it to basically call across the whole map, and only other Paras or maybe some other species could detect it. There would be an audio AND visual cue.
I don’t think roster bloat is a thing. Not unless we are talking about hundreds upon hundreds of playables. But 48 playables is hardly roster bloat, imo. The only coherent argument o have heard so far is that there won’t be enough players in a 100 player server to have large herds or it’ll be hard to find groups of your species if there’s 48 playables. But even then I think it’s flimsy. Seeders with a limited roster is possible, which would immediately solve this without stripping peoples favorite animals from the game. Because using that argument there shouldn’t be more than 10 animals total, then. Wouldn’t want “roster bloat”. Maybe less. Let’s just have 1 large Alex of each diet, 1 mid-sized of each, then 1small for each. Then 1 flier. There, roster bloat is solved!. But people would be bummed out. The reason these games are fun is you get a large number of dinosaurs from different time periods and with overlaping niches where they can interact with eachither. We can see a spino fight a deinosheirus or a T-rext fight an Acro etc.. people get to play as their favorite animal with unique abilities and skills etc.. The idea we can’t have two dinosaurs if they are “too similar” to me isn’t a logical argument. Especially not when it’s the isle who’s entire canon is that these are genetically engineered monsters using the base DNA of the real life extinct animals. Literally like Jurassic park. They aren’t exact true to life replicas of the real living dinosaurs. Just very similar. So this gives us leeway to give these animals abilities (within reason and with some grounded realism, obviously) that they didn’t actually posses in real life. We could literally give Cory a m venomous spike on its thumb or hind limb which can cause it’s target to lose control or certain abilities or hallucinate etc.. or para getting a sonic attack/stun ability and it would still be canon and fit into the games universe. And it would drastically alter the play style in a major way of otherwise similar animals. The roster bloat Argument in regards to animals being “too similar” is empty and without merit in regards to the isle universe, imo.
I'm so confused with the para's stun call. Why stun an allo from 5 feet away half your size when you could just crush it, doubt the stun would work on apexes and acro. It feels the devs intentionally made para weak just so they could use the stun call, taken from an absolutely horrible documentary. No, it doesn't serve the purpose of making para unique. Could have literally just looked at camels and the way they defend themselves and you have an interesting, unique playable that can switch from flight to fight in a blink of an eye. I like the idea of cory have seismic hearing, always made sense to me for para/other social hadrosaurs to be able to hear each other from farther away. Definetely a more chill idea I can agree on.

Ahhh nice, the offensive crest idea I proposed Made it in! Now since my favourite Dinos in General are sauropods I am really interested in this: how would you make all of the four larger sauropods viable? That means both distinct and fun at the Same time.They are somewhat similar to each other, but I do see some potential there!
Most people would say that all the sauropods are basically the same, but I think they they have the potential to fill different combat roles and roles in herds
Camarasaurus can have a stampede attack and trample all in its path. Legacy’s Camara had the issue of being a food sink, terrible bleed resistance, and having one of the most powerful attacks in the game, but it being basically not even apart of its move set since the move charge up is just far too long. So that’s my idea for Camarasaurus
I can’t recall if the sauropod I’m thinking of is Apatosaurus, Brontosaurus, or Diplodocus, but 2 ideas I have. The first one is a powerful neck attack, since brontosaurus’s neck vertebrae actually covered quite a large area of space for muscle attachment. So a next swinging Brontosaurus would be really cool to see. Or you can go the tail route
Man in my opinion both para and cory should pack together so for example a cory could add a para to herd they whould also be basically the sheep of evrima running from large animals stampeding them.
My idea for Paras stun is that all it does is deafen and blur the vision of the attacker for ~5-8 seconds, then they’re invulnerable to the same stun for another few seconds
really cool thing with the blunt/sharp crest with the corys could be for example, females having blunt crests for just hitting away small animals maybe ovis when trying to steal their eggs and males having sharp crests defending against bigger predators

crest isnt strong enough to use as a attack they probably relied on running and a form of kicking bucking or stomping if running wasnt avaliblei think its ok to have them the same and just make cory faster with more stam and better agility and for people who are like "2 identical dinos is dumb" take a look at acro which is often times called bigger/better allo or faster giga or look at the small tiers they all have the same format with some the only difference being looks and burrowing
Since kissen said sauropods can do a little seismic trolling it would be nice to have it similar to deinos water detection just a lil more different maybe like a visual indicator on where the sound came from and how far was the sound
I loved cory idea but the fact that they made para lose 1v1 to a allo even tho its way biggerthen allo and cory and they are saying para being pure runner with crayz agility makes this cory idea go away cuz like its basically more combat based more agile faster and more avare cory erreases para from games ur idea is 9/10 but the offical para idea ? Itd barely 3/10
I think Cory should not be skittish and be solitary animal. I know that goes against hadrosaur rules but what if just like the cassowary it should be feared. I think is should be a combo monster and be a diabloceratop but a hadrosaur. Using its arms to slam down predators and the crest used to slam down as well.
Para neeeds more love it was my favourite and I’m pretty good with it on legacy but I hate that to most people it’s just a “easy meal” it’s should be hard for a giga to take on at least 2-3 paras
My idea for the para: game marks the places that predators are at unless they are crouching but to mark the predators 1 use an ability that lowers your defense attack and speed but boosts stamina greatly 2 stop at the spot for 5 seconds while playing an animation.
2:01 it could be sexual dimorphism like males have blunt for knock back and mating displays and kind of like sparing against each other for mating rights cause they don’t want to seriously injure each other and they have size for that.Females have sharp crests for defending their hatchlings and dealing with a threat quickly.Or it could be based on diet
tbh, i dont like paras concept art at all. all concept arts should only tell what that specific dinosaur is good at and what it can fight and weakneses was up to the player to find out when that dinosaur gets into the game. Shame that such a beautiful and magificent creature like para gets that shit concept art
At this point, Cory should just be an alt skin for Para. Beyond the different crest there's not a whole lot different between them, aside from Para being a fair bit larger (least 2735 kg bigger), but it'd be a waste of money making it a separate playable. Much like how Hypsi was a waste of money while Orodromeus already existed
Skin is my ass, both are different genera, making it a skin is not an option, since they need different stats and need to herd with the same species. There is no problem with having two similar dinosaurs, in fact, niche overlapping is a good thing, since it promotes interaction and competition.
