You wasn't kidding frank, that is some rocky ass ground, but needless to say you did an awesome job digging that look, thanks for sharing the process of digging it, appreciate it,
That looks like Texas digging! I don't miss it a bit. As weird as it was at first, I love talking into the camera while I'm working. It makes it feel like I'm not by myself in the cab. Great hole by the way. I can't believe how neat it is even with all the rock. You are a fantastic operator.
That is a tough hole to get right Frank, but if the customer is happy with your work, happy days !!!! Can't do much with the rock, think I would have been tempted to leave that one in place on the side. Could tell you were pleased to get this one finished with sir 👍💪💰
I was hoping for a tutorial with a shovel that is all I have. I have dug a many a long mile with a shovel. In my Dad's training program hand tools were a staple for building skill and horse power.
Tim... 200 years ago... they were building tunnels, mine shafts, gardens, gold ore... heck everything that way... and look what they built. I think a lot of folks should have schooling in how to operate a pick and shovel... it might be a safer world!
@@sassafrasvalley1939 So very true. It is amazing what can be done with hand tools if you throw enough time at it. I didn't want to destroy my yard of fence. I dug out a large rock garden in my yard. Shovel, spud bar and 12 pound sledge.
@@timebert6141 even though I have a rear mounted roto-tiller for my tractor... I still hand dig root crops with a spading fork. I tell my wife it’s because they grow better that way. Do they? Perhaps... but for sure, my direct contact with the dirt seems to make them taste better when I consume them!
Is not hart to dig for a pool if you got the right machine to do it ! Other than that good job with the backhoe, I have been around too many backhoe operators and you the only one I have seeing running a backhoe properly 👍🏿
Frank... makes me want to put on my water wings and dive right in... now, if they only had them in my size and I could muster up enough wind to blow them up!!! #backhoeopensawaterpark
I wondered if people bid on the job or charge by the hour. I saw a crew dig for new water line and they had to jack hammer all the way. And a guy that lives up by me bided on a hundred mile of fiber wore out every piece of equipment he had. He said it cost him his company and now it’s just him starting over but I thought he will probably b better off by his self instead of trying to be a big wig
Strive for perfection, do as well as can! Failure is only a concept of your standards. If others find your work as unacceptable, and you did your best! It is not a failure. It is only their concept as to what they want. If you are not given the conditions to meet their standers, and they fail to see. Do not blame yourself. Just cash the check and move on!
By the way have you ever gone to other job sites and looked at some of the stuff(work) they are doing lately.! Im not an operator but It isnt even in the same class. Im sure if anyone could put dirt back in a wall of a pool it'd be you tryin. Ha ha.
Well, being that I will have a koi pond to build, your tip for the tooth on the cut line will be put into use for some curves. Your backhoe school has made things click to use the machine more and less shovel work.... Back to viewing
