I, too, spilled water on my keyboard and have dealt with stuck keys for months. Uninstalling/disabling devices as other guides perscribed didn't do jack, but this solution worked immediately. Thank you!!

I was skeptical but it works. One of my keys would repeatedly press over and over by itself. If it ends up not working for you enable the on screen keyboard with your mouse to log back in and undo your changes

THANK YOU! My keyboard had random keys not working, so I replaced it with a new one, but after a few months, the new one randomly started having stuck keys where it would press the same key over and over until I restarted. Now I'm just using a USB keyboard!

Oddly enough, this did the trick for me too. My old laptop had somehow activated several keys so they were actively typing on every window all the time. Might have been a water spill. You might find that if you simply 'disable' or 'Uninstall' the driver like a lot of other articles/videos suggest, Windows might find the driver and update it on each restart. This approach permanently disables the keyboard until you choose to reuse it. Cheers, thanks for sharing!

Finally, this tutorial works for me. I kept browsing the internet looking for answers but those internet tutorial especially Microsoft forum always told me to uninstall ps/2 software at device manager which did not work at all. Luckily I found this video. The only downside is that my touchpad is also disabled but I'll just use a mouse. Thanks man

i also found a fix right now. Open up your laptop and just deconnect it from the MB. on my Y520 legion, i diddnt needed to build anything else out. Just pulled up the small black things and took out the cable

Its because of a windows 10 feature which automatically detects a dysfunctional keyboard and re-installs the correct driver. Hence everytime you disable it, the windows will enable it back. And you cant stop windows from doing that.

I tried to uninstall that standard keyboard driver in device manager but instaed of restart I did shutdown and it worked. If you restart that driver it will again get installed..

thanks, it worked! Auto clicking has been my lappy's problem, thankfully the power button is separated from the internal keys. :)

Bro can u help me. When i attached keyboard in laptop it works but letters WASD only are double typing when I use laptop keyboard there is no problem in letters
