Thank you very much for the detailed review. Very useful material. My Zenfone 5 stopped working after 5.5 years - Wi-Fi and cellular networks failed. But the smartphone continued to work. I could watch the apps and use them. I took the smartphone to the workshop. They broke the smartphone to the end and said I needed to change the motherboard. I think I'll have to do it myself now))

Hi, usually we use a sealant to tight-out-of-gap-glue our stuff (like display, covers). For speakers, vibration motors, batteries, we use an adhesive tape 3M. Anyway, yes, you can.

Hola, vale, necesitas comprar un nuevo LCD. Lo vi a la venta con un marco, eso significa que debes desarmar el teléfono como en este video, desempaquetar y quitar todas las partes del viejo y colocar el nuevo marco (qué parte de la nueva pantalla LCD) y montar el teléfono. Por cierto, la batería se pega al armazón demasiado fuerte, es mejor usar un secador de pelo o alcohol isopropílico para la separación. Okay, you need to buy new LCD. I saw it on sale with a frame, that means, you should disassemble the phone as on this video, unstick & put all parts off from old one and put in the new frame (which part of new LCD) and assemble the phone. BTW the battery glues to the frame too hard, better to use a hair dryer or isopropyl alcohol for separation.

Olá. Meu ZenFone 5 ze620kl está com problema no microfone. Fiz o teste do mic e do mic2 . Digitei .12345+= na calculadora e fiz os testes. Não funcionaram. Entretanto , quando faço ligação e utilizo o viva voz do aparelho, o microfone funciona perfeitamente. Qual poderia ser o problema?

Hey , your mic is probably dead or debree is stuck into the hole , when you use the speaker feature the phone picks up sound from all microphones installed in the phone

You can't do it normally , you can "jumpstart" a battery by peeling the protection plastics and expose the + and - leads , then use the + and - cables from a spare usb cable (you need to cut it) and put the cables to the correct leads + to + and - to - . This is risky , you can short your battery and damage it forever or you can start a fire . It's better to buy a new battery or give your phone to a trained technician.
