So you have a fix for a Gesture chair that is stuck in the lowest position? Lever is in the wrong position to activate cylinder, perhaps installed incorrectly?
Mine was like this as well. I have to stand up, hold the switch and jiggle the chair. I would have reached out for a warranty replacement cylinder, but unfortunately the chair is so uncomfortable that it's all going back.
I can't even remove the seat. I even tried hold the chair in place and pull the seat with more strength, but its not bulging. not even a bit, anybody having this problem?
I just removed mine without any issue. Move the seat all the way back until you can see the metal tab. Once you can see it. You bend it towards the front of the seat then while it’s pushed forward start twisting the knob to move the seat off.
@@burnz2304 Really appreciate that. I'm not sure if I see the metal tab, if it's not too much trouble for you, could you guide me to a photo of which metal tab I should be looking for?
@@Mr2Phreshh adjust the seat depth as close you can to the back of the chair. It’s a small square hole and a black piece of metal once you start adjusting it you should see it.
