Using the board to debead the inner bead is a game changer! Just tried it and worked flawlessly without tearing the rim up with spoons! Thanks for the tip!

Use an 8" C clamp with two pieces of wood to break the bead.

This is about as old school as you can get. He handled it professionally. Shows you CAN do it yourself.
