How to do a 2013/14 front end conversion on a 2010 - 2012 Mustang

Do you actually have to have a hood from a 13? Or will the front bumper fit with the original hood?

I am thinking about going the other way (14 GT front end to a 2012 front end)....Does the 2012 have a bumper support bracket?
