This week on Fit Tip Tuesday I was going to share how to do a FBA and adjust for a narrow chest/shoulders. Then I realized that I've already done this topic. You can find the links for these videos below the description. Today I'm going to show you how to do a different kind of Full Bust Adjustment. If you're working on a wrapped top, dress or cardigan, you may not think you need extra room for your bust because the CF edges do not have to meet in the middle. Thanks a million, it looks so simple and logical! I always did a typical full bust adjustment with 3 lines for wrap tops and I always had the problem that my decolte was not covered properly and had to wear these outfits always with safety pins to cover my decolte. This was what I needed the whole time. Hopefully will also work in praxis. Thank you!!!

Thank you for the video! I have a wrap dress that I need to do an FBA on, but it has a dart along the bottom edge. I do t know what to do and can’t find any videos. I have a 2.5 inch difference between my upper bust and full bust. Thank you!!

Is there anyway to adjust an empire waist style top that is too small for the bust, the seam doesn't fall under the bust and i was wondering how I can move it further down the top under the bust rather then sitting on top

@@JSternDesigns Thanks sm!! Seams like that tend to be sewn with soft/clear elastic so I was thinking of just taking out the seam, maybe handsewing an invisible stitch and sewing the plastic lower under the bust. i'll be sure to stay tuned ;))

I'm looking to lower the bust point alteration on a dress that has a twist front bust with an under bust seam which on me comes above my bust. It fits great except the seam is above instead of below my bust. Question❓: Should I pick out the under bust seam and add cloth there or cut above the bust and add cloth there?

To lower the bust seam, I think adding fabric above it would be the best plan... do you have fabric that coordinates with the dress fabric? If so, it could be a cool design detail!

So for the small bust adjustment on a wrap bodice would be the same? Slash and move the piece downwards?
