NicNacAttack Just use a gel or if you hair is longer use a thick leave in. Works for me if i layer leave ins (water, 2 leave ins with normal consistency for moisture and then a super thick leave in to act as a gel/smoothing product) I do it like to do avoid using a gel and drying my hair out.

Thank you so much for making all these videos for us 4c girls with short hair. I cut my hair 6 months ago and am letting it grow out but if it is not in braids i dont know how to style it and that started making me hate having 4c hair. Just work in sections. I usually do three and then tie it down for a spell with my scarf. I don't even use a lot of product and my hair is thick 4c. You can do it.
