Hey beautiful people! Here is a tutorial on how to do a sleek low ponytail on natural hair. The method I used was super efficient to sleek down thick type 4 natural hair without excessive amounts of products, no heat, and no flaking. A hack I learned when I started doing my hair is mixing a little bit of your favorite leave-in with the gell you wanna use and if it coagulates then it'll flake on your hair but if it mixes smoothly then you're good to go......in case anyone needs it🦋

Coagulate meaning if it turns white once it's mixed then it'll flake? If it mixes smoothly and and does not turn white then it's a good match?

I love this style. I'm a 90s girl. Trust when you do the hair wet and add the product, it won't move even if Moses tried with his staff. Use a rat tail comb to smooth the bumps.

Xtreme wet gel is the BEST gel for my 4b hair that all I use and I moisturize my hair with she’s butter only , I use salon holding strips to hood it down and put my hair under bonnet dryer also I spray with olive oil or carrot oil spary and I might put some oil on it after I’m done and it holds for days might have to touch it up a bit but it stays !!!!! I love it thanks for this video I’m going to try this pony

I have finally found my tribe. I’m definitely in the 4 tribe but I think I’m like 4h lol!!! I got coils the shape of O’s, Z’s and S’s and I love it! I just don’t know how to style it now bc it’s always been in braids or some type of weave. Now I want to wear it w/o sew in’s and braids for awhile. Thank you for the tutorial.
