Hi, welcome back again everyone! Here I bring you a 'How Perfect Muscle Up' Tutorial. I hope you all are able to receive some usable advice and knowledge from me today. For any questions or comments, please shoot up the comments!
Section 1: Initial Start
-'Hollow Ready' Hollowed out/Pushed forward shoulders, braced
abs.
Solid grip, none of that weak shit.
Locked out arms before pulling/ or arms locked out before even
grabbing bar.
Head should be kept neutral
Straight, locked legs.
Pointed toes.
section 2: Pull & Transition
Hold on to a strong hollow body to ensure a compromise on form
wont happen.
Don't land chest on bar, keep about 5 inches of space by pushing
down as you transition.
Keep head neutral
Refrain from kipping, all energy must go to pulling and keeping
core engaged.
Section 3: Dip
Lock out arms on top of dip.
Be sure to no let go of hollow activation. This will lead to a "Shrug"
at the top of the dip. Ex. in video
Section 4: Return
Don't drop chest to bar as you go down, drop down, and be sure
before you transition below the bar you kept a distance at about 5
inch from the bar.
HOLD ON TO HOLLOW BODY, without it youll most likely catch
momentum and or arching to cancel some momentum.
Lock out arms and repeat.

Real nice form man! I’ve been focusing on the transition phase. I’ve been practicing jumping muscle ups but have been using the bar for too much chest support as I get tired throughout the sets. I’ve also been trying to get Russian dips so I’m practicing the Russian push-ups. Now I’m going to work on the feet supported transition on the parallel bars without having my chest touch the bar. Thanks for putting this out there 🙏

Thanks brother, and you're welcome. Good to hear you're focused on improving. Yeah, training to not land on the bar goes a long way and really helps build great strength on top of the transition. Its that detail that ultimately leads you to be able to pull straight to your hip. Get that down and you will upgrade 👍.

I have been following you for a while. I love your extensive explanation of every detail of the form! I am currently on the "lessening" the kip stage of the muscle up using the advice from your "HOW TO FIX YOUR MUSCLE-UP (NO MORE KIPPING)" video. Now I wonder which is more difficult - slow muscle up (triceps strength) or the perfect (explosive) muscle up you're demonstrating?

Thank you so much brother 🙏🏻 and that’s what’s up man, removing the kip isn’t as hard as learning your first mucle up so you’ll be there soon! And to be honest they are both difficult in there own way but the slow one is defiantly harder. It’s a heavy load on the triceps as you transition, normally not felt since the transition is fast in a regular muscle up. A skill you one day gotta hit 💪🏻

it ain’t a muscle-up if you aren’t only using muscle to get up… So you can’t say “how to do a perfect muscle-up”. Because it’s far from perfect! only an extremely small percentage of people even do one muscle-up in their life, so you shouldn’t be giving people false hope, and making them think they did something! I appreciate the thought to make a vid about it though
