I used to do this. But i cut my hair and started putting my hair in a side part while its wet by slicking it back then splitting it down the middle and combing into a side part on one side. As my hair got longer again I kept doing this and it looks AMAZING when its dry. Because my hair fluffs up, has waves and just looks awesome.

another way is to take one of those curved brushes and like collect your bangs and then put them straight up and put the brush behind them and then sorta like curl them backwards on the brush still? and then just blow dry them like that and it’s a lot easier

if u live in higher elevation or somewhere dry, this won't work as well. try tying the middle of the top section from the front to the back of the hair while it's wet. once it's damp, take out the hair, part it in the middle, scrunch it, and use hair spray. If it doesn't work, u may have tied it wrong. gl gang
This is the same cut I have. Tbh I do t have that much time + a hairdryer in the mornings before school 😭 but I do everything the same as you. I leave my hair to set.
Can't believe guys say THIS is long hair. I do however think this is a helpful video for those looking for this style. I just believe ones hair classifies as long once it is down to your shoulders, such as mine
