I hope this translated right .. Yes, a burnished piece still needs firing but only up to 1000C. Firing higher loses the burnish although it still has a smooth surface. As such, you could only glaze with low firing glazes, something like raku. Burnished pieces are often finished in a simple smoke firing rather than with a glaze.
