I was just wondering what do you farm as in crops . You remind me of a younger me but you are plainly sharper. Thanks for your knowledge and slow down on that grease lol
I always unbolt the clutch before I pull the transmission. Putting the new clutch on the input shaft in the new tranny, or same one if ur just replacing the clutch, is way easier for me to stab the transmission that way. U don’t have to go straight in and play with the input shaft to get it to line up with the clutch discs. Just have somebody turn the motor so u can line up the flywheel with the clutch and bolt it up. So much easier. Just my input
I really love the way you do the job, it is not just how clean and perfect with lots of petitions you do it, which is so valuable those are one side of your great work, the other amazing point was when you couple the Transmission to engine , and you did it so professionally like piece of a cake ,without any force because earlier on you had adjusted input shaft so properly ,this things can be seance and noticed only by professional mechanics who have dont this types of work themselves, Jobs done by you must be greatly appreciated THANKS and GOODLUCK.
I love it the way you was playing very clear very professional God bless you my friend just keep on going we here to support you and thank you for being so important for us with all your information don't give up thank you for everything have a beautiful life
good stuff I had no clue that there is no transmission mount is that for all semis? amazing thanks Ryan good stuff .see you on the next one. Dave from L.A.
Thank you very much for this restricted and clear explanation. I am a new subscriber to your channel. I would like to ask if the channel content includes lessons in the process of diagnosis, programming, discovering frequent faults in heavy trucks, and other electronic matters in trucks.
Next time, Ryan, fix a go pro cam looking into the side of the housing with a clear view of the spline and hole. It should do wonders for you. And... before you even remove the Trans, measure the bottom edge of the housing, them measure the bottom of the Trans housing, then just raise it to those levels when installing.
Excuse me, can I ask you a question? I'm starting out in mechanics and I like to learn what I can and I wanted to know how many pounds of torque it gives to the bolts that hold the transmission to the engine?
I know how u feel working by urself . I'm 60 n do it all by myself . Getting ready to mount a tranny on a 300 cummins . Out n the mud on a log job . lol
My clutch fork didn't curl behind the throw out bearing and i missed it. Tightened the transmission down and the forks broke the clutch housing. It was long day today!
Is the lack of a crossmember a KW thing, or is that the case for all makes? Good video Ryan, you do nice work. I would think that you will have a lot of interest in the truck.
@@nunyabuziness8421 I only charge 8-1400 for a clutch job.. And people tell me i charge too much. On Engines that im used to like C-15's with Eaton transmissions i can do in 1 day.
