If you guys hear ANY snoring throughout the video while im talking its my dog sleeping next to me LOL! 😭🤣 thanks for watching! 💅🏼✨ feel free to let me know if you have any questions or recommendations on what I should film next ! 🤍
Hello I have a question, I’m a beginner of a month in and when I do a set how come after 3-4 days some nails tend to fall off is there something I’m doing wrong should I change? All the stuff I have now I just bought so I hardly believe they don’t work do you know why this happens? Thank you those nails came out amazing!
Thank you for being so real about the reality behind becoming a nail tech ! I was self conscious about the time I took doing a set aswell !!! No one really talk about this! ❤️
i’ve been doing nails for a while now but i just can’t seem to get a crisp shape, i literally used to take 6 hours to do a set but now i’m down to 2 hours. I wanna practice more but i’m only 14 so i have skl and hw so i can’t practice as often 🙁 love your videos tho🥰
Harbor Freight sells those blue shop towels. They used to be in a large white plastic tub that you can screw to a wall. Also Advanced Auto sells them but the packaging is black and red. They are high quality for working on cars and cleaning windows.
Seriously this is the best video so far for beginners!! You really go in depth but reassure us that it's a process and not to overwhelm ourselves!! Nails are gorgeous!! You got yourself a new follower! Have a blessed day! ✨💖✨
This is very true a lot of people don’t want to help and we need to learn from each other … the world is definitely big enough for us all to plenty of clients and create friendships
Hi my name is cristian, thanks so much for this video I really appreciate it, I’m a work in progress, I went to school, nails is my passion,I’m taking to long doing a full set, I had a lot of lifting, and like you I just cry now I’m doing much better, thanks a million times for everything.
They are super cute. I’m going to try using the alcohol with the brush to remove the dust after prep and after acrylic/filling 😊 thank you I like to leave my sets as smooth as I can with the buffer. But after buying the Valentino top coat, I heard that in order to prevent the forming of circles, I have to leave the nail a bit rough. I guess it needs a lil roughness to hold on. I’m going to try it tomorrow
So I have my license since 96 and I put the nail business behind me some years ago. Nevertheless the passion is still here. So when I enter back into the nails the game changed completely although I know the fundamentals the styles of designs are out of this world. I’m a lot older now but I have a young heart and I appreciate this video so much it has taught me enormously. Thank you young school. So appreciative
Great job! Very informative! Only advice I’d give is maybe wait a few seconds once your beads are placed on the nails and allow gravity to do most of the work. I cringed at all the wipes you do once the bead is placed you basically wipe it right off by sliding it down the nail. Although there’s nothing wrong with doing 109 beads if you’d like, it would cut your beads down by over half by trying to build an apex. If you place, then let gravity do the work as you lightly guide with tiny taps you’d have your entire nail build to perfection in 3-4 beads. Either way your nails are still great! Loved your work!
I GENUINELY LOVED THIS ENTIRE VIDEO!!!! LOVEDDDDD the advice thank you so much. You don’t even know how much you have helped me just thru videos. Have been binge watching & going to continue 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 QUESTION 🙋🏻♀️: Do you sterilize your tools? If so what do you use or how??? Definitely gonna put the sanitized from home depot 😊
I just love how honest you are about all that you do i admire that about you. it helps beginners to be more confident in the way they do thier work. Keep up the gud work👍👍👍
PERFECT tutorial. No annoying blasting commercial , no “um’s) 16x in a sentence, very in depth and realistic based on experience. Subscribing now! Thanks for the tips on how cold or hot the room being affects the acrylic. I recently had my entire glue bundle freeze on me . And for the tip on the primers as well. ! Beautiful set
how do u cope w the monomer smell? do u use air purifiers, special tips abt keeping low monomer odor like do u put anything in the monomer to make it less smelly or anything?
I love that'll you explain everything in depth that you're doing..as you said some don't like to share what their doing..which I don't understand. So thank you🥰 and I love your work❤️
This set is so beautiful. I’m a beginner, would you recommend I buy Valentino products? Right now I have Amazon brand products and I’m doing really well. I’m looking to upgrade my nail tools.
I just came across your channel and just subscribed! Thanks for taking the time to share your techniques, products, and help tips. I just started doing my nails during the pandemic and your tutorials are very helpful for beginners like me. I’m hoping that this video will help with the lifting so my nails can last a lot longer! Thank you!!!!
This vid is just what I wanted to see. Love your vids. So good. I would love to see a SHAPING video. Im just learning. Ive passed the mani and pedi bit, now its the acrylics and gels I have to learn. Im an Aussie, but Im sure its the same world wide. Take care.
Hi. Hope all is well. I literally watched this video so so so many times.. I love your work and your shapes.. I don’t do the one bead method as well., it’s a struggle for me but it’s not really relevant .. your video is very informative and listening to you is knowledgeable!!! I’m so ready to go further in the nail business.. I’m patient overall.. thanks again for all your videos love.. much appreciative
I love ur Chanel, im so greatful for all the tips and advice. The fact that u always mention what ur using and providing it for us in the description box makes things easier for beginners like me. I've noticed a lot of nail techs kinda gatekeep what their using and aren't very helpful. Ty new subscriber🥰🥰🥺
It looks like the side of the nail has no Arylic on it you can still see the plastic nail tips is that just on the pinki or is that how you always apply the Arylic #nailsslayedbyval
70% alcohol is great for the nails too. It evaporates slow enough to break down germs and cell walls. 90% alcohol evaporates too fast to kill what needs to basically die on the nail. You did an amazing job on this set!
Could you explain a little more about why you added the Mia secret on top of the shimmer acrylic? What would happen to the design if you didn’t add that extra layer? Thank you 💕
i love how detailed you are 🥺 i love your voice 🥺 please do a video on shaping cause i really turn with my file while shaping 😩😂 thank you for helping ❤️
Yes definitely! Steps are: Throw away buffers , sanding bands , orange wood sticks , nail files after use. Never reuse these. For all metal or ceramic implements that can be sanitized ( like drill bits , metal cuticle pusher , cuticle nippers, nail clippers ) they must be washed with hot water and antibacterial soap. You can scrub them clean as well with a little brush to get any dead skin or dust off of the implements. Then once done you have to put them in a barbicide + water solution for 10 minutes. ( you follow the instructions on the bottle ) if you leave the stuff in the solution for too long they could start to rust. And then you just rinse and pat dry with a clean towel and put them into sanitary bags for your next use. ( i know it sounds like a lot of steps but once you’ve done it a few times its super quick )
Don’t feel bad for using um’s or like’s. It doesn’t mean you’re not smart, the opposite actually, it means you’re more thoughtful and deliberate in how you articulate your thoughts!
I really like how you explain and show all items that you use, this set is absolutely beautiful my only recommendation would be to slow down the speed just a tad bit when it gets to the acrylic application and try to stay in frame a bit more. Nonetheless great job it’s my first time watching so I’ll watch another video and new sub ☺️
I got a full "Acrylic nails for beginners starter kit". Complete w nail forms, acrylic powder dip, base & top coat/sealer, etc. (supposedly everything you need is included). I have good quality clippers & file. Purchased a pro drill set (that includes different inter-changeable bits). ~I thought I had all tools needed to get started~ *BUT... my kit DOES NOT come w COLORED acrylic powder... all the tuts show ppl creating their initial nail shape w light or clear acrylic, then using a different colored acrylic powder for their finished nail color. QUESTION: After applying my initial acrylic beads (& finishing my shaping by sanding w drill, filing, etc) can I paint over the acrylic nails I've created with regular nail polish? Then finish by doing another coat of my same plain acrylic on top, followed by the clear sealant top coat? Skip straight to using my sealing top coat? OR, do I HAVE to go buy a color acrylic for my nail color??
Ugh where do I start 😩 first thing: I love you for your heartfelt motivation & these helpful videos!! ❤️ It’s hard to find other techs that GENUINELY want to help others!!! two: I struggle so BAD with my shape & cuticle application. Some days I feel like I’m progressing then other days it feels like I’m going backwards and not learning anything and I want to give up but I can’t. I compare myself to other techs whose work I aspire to be as good as and that can be a good thing for me or a bad thing! (Comparison) Do you offer virtual classes love? 😩💕
Awww thank you it means a lot!!! 🥺🥺🥺 and i dont unfortunately but if you ever need any help feel free to message me on any of my instagrams !! ❤️ let me know you’re from RU-vid 💘
YOUR WORK AND VIDEOS ARE 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤💅🏾.... I have the Melody Susie white drill cause I really only D.I.Y my own nails and a friend or 3..and the curly curly cord drives me 🤪 CRAZY....my question is, what do you think of the new white drill shaped like and apple??? PS. I JUST HAD TO SUBSCRIBE 💕 I LOVE THE WAY YOU TEACH ❤
I wanted to ask.. whenever I do a square shape.. it’s always so wide? Is this because of the clients nail beds. I always see on insta nails they are quite thin !!
Hey love ! Yes It can definitely be because of the clients nail bed! Especially when they come in with a picture of super thin tapered square but the pic is on tiny slim nail beds , when you recreate it on wide big nails it it not going to look the same at all!! A lot of clients dont always understand that as well. It can also be the kind of tips you’re using as well try to use the XXL square c curve ones and cut the sides a little it might help ☺️
Yes i put a very very thin layer of mia secret clear before every set I do I feel like it helps a lot with adhesion and if someone needs a fill its easier (:
@@Nailsslayedbyval just went and placed an order with them! I'm so happy you shared this site girl I'm excited and I know where I'm shopping for my notpolish acrylics now:) thanks again girl
Who’s the tik toker you spoke about that doesn’t file after application? My application is my biggest struggle 😩 but I could relate to everything you’re saying in this! But you’ve come so far your work looks bomb & you should be proud of yourself! 🙌🏽
Thank you so much! ❤️ and her tiktok is Karybeauty! She does all videos in spanish but she doesnt file after application and her application is super smooth! 😭 idk how she does it
