What's up, I have a 2010 cts and when I come to a stop or traffic light the oil pressure drops and when I restart it goes up to normal... do you know if that's normal in Cadillac cts?
Normally I would say its not normal. Many people have reported with their Cadillac CTS's that this could be a bad oil pump, oil pressure relief valve, a worn oil filter... just to name a few. If possible use a code reader 1st to see if you have any troubleshooting codes to help narrow down the problem.
It depends on what kind of plastic piece or rivet it is. Some have push pins in it...some you use a regular screwdriver for, or just pluck it out with a flat head screwdriver. So hard to say exactly.
For this 3.6L engine I used 6 quarts of 5W-30 oil. But do a quick search on your vehicle model to determine the correct type of oil and the exact number of quarts you should use.
