How to do an Oil Change on Massimo T-Boss 550 Hisun Linhai 500 UTV SxS 

I have the T-Boss 550 and this video was very, very helpful. My unit came directly from the assembly plant in Texas and arrived without engine oil which I found when I inspected off the flatbed. So I checked all my fluids and the plug on the gear box was way over torqued also. I will see how the filter goes in a few days (first oil change). Yah, I had a few words for where that oil dip stick is! I will be armed with a funnel with a hose (THANKS). I am 76YO, so maybe I will die beffore I have to do serious work on this machine, but they sure did not make servicing a priority in their design. Again, thanks, this really helped. BTW, I have the operating and service manual and they never give a part number for the filter.

Great Video, helped so much on my initial Tboss 550 Oil Change - Bought a funnel with a long 2 ft bendable hose as suggested and worked like a charm, though I still enjoyed your frustrating comments, LOL.

The best funnel for these is the tube that comes with a jug of DEF they use in diesels. You can also take the valve cover off, and pour the oil in there. Thanks for the video!

I have the 560 TBoss which is the same SxS essentially. You need a stainless steel long flexible funnel to reach that dipstick/fill port. I have no idea why they build things like this????

Have the dealer check the drain plug and filter and retorque so the first oil change is fun, not weird.

These are definitely odd to work on and a lot of that is because the engine is a clone of one that was in an ATV. That dipstick location drives me nuts lol. If you do a google search you will find free service manuals which will have all the info you need. Also, Massimo is selling these kits with the incorrect oil weight. Unfortunately they know next to nothing about their own product. The manufacturer (Linhai) calls for a 15W40.. I suggest following it in the future, your wet clutch will thank you!

Very poor design by the manufacturer. I was thinking about getting one, but now am not so sure. If they can't get a simple thing like an oil change right so it is easy to do, what else did they mess up. Thank you for the video. It really opened my eyes.

This whole machine screams designed by a non mechanic, been working on it at work and just getting to a switch in the dash was a 1 hour task... Not looking forward to the rest of the maintenance.
