Slightly, but not much is different in the process.

@@toomuchkool-aid7975 the angle that the drain plug is at, on the 4.0, it is pointed straight down. Same with the oil filter, and the 4.0, it is pointed straight down, and accessed from under the vehicle.

I thought that truck used 5w-30 not 5w-20

The owners manual for the 3.0L says to use 5W-20, though I know a lot of people use other oils (like 5W-30) depending on their climate and swear by their method. The 4.0L and the older 2.9L owners manuals do say to put 5W-30 in them.
