This hair weaving technique is definitely unique. it is as describe, A SEW-IN WITH NO BRAIDS. Yes completely off the hook. The tracking foundation is created with an extraordinary stitching method using needle and thread. Then, the wefted hair meaning tracks is added as usual. By creating the track with thread it eliminate the braid. Therefore, you no longer have as much bulkiness. You can also wear your hair various ways like a VERY HIGH PONYTAIL. Great tutorial. Can I please ask what stops the weft from slipping down the length of the hair when you brush all hair together? And how long would you expect the weft to stay fixed in?Thank you

I would put the threaded sections in rubber bands while creating the weft for the weft. They say if done correctly, you can keep in for 2 months of regular shampooing, coloring, dying & curling, etc. My concern is removing them without hair damage...and with the microlinks too 😒

I had this method done in the early 80's. I used to go to this place called WAJ wigs. They were the best. They would take a sample of your hair and make custom weft right there! It was a Harlem Landmark!

Girl I've been searching for this exact video for weeks! I recently did a perm and had to get a bob cut since it damaged my hair. I tried braiding the front sides where my bangs are but they're too short and it looks too unnatural. This is perfect. I'm going to try it as soon as I get my hair in the mail. Thank you thank you!

This would work perfect for me since I only want to add lenght to the front portion of my hair. Much better than the clip in method.

I had this done and it pull my hair out there was to much tension on my hair. I went back and the my beautician wash my hair she is the one who did the extensions and my hair still came out. I have thick hair I mixed Puerto Rican and black and my hair couldn't take this style. I like the Vixen sew in on your other video I am going to try that. I am trying to grow my hair out long hoping the vixen sew in will work.

Steven Mathew mine lasted a week. unless you have lots of texture in your hair, this slips right out & i got mine done professionally. not a good technique if you want something lasting.

so how do you take it out ? cut all those slits of thread at the roots? new growth will move all that so it wont be like this anymore after hair starts growing right? just curious. Will there be hair loss anywhere in there? Thank you

There was a salon in Ft. Lauderdale that did this a Jamaican partnership the one guy's name was Ralph and that is how they did my sew ins. So beautiful and seamless. Cannot find them or anyone who knows how to do this in South Florida.... anyone in the Florida area know of someone?

I would think it would be better if u didn't get a perm before. since the new growth would provide texture and resistance. helping to stop the slipping and sliding so many of us are scared of. I actually figured how to do this on my own a few years ago in a friends hair. I used a different stitch pattern (chain stitch) but it's nice to see other ppl doing it now. this style I would say is more for. adding body. or highlights. like I did for my friend.
