Straight up. And she put folks in they place to start off😂😂 I was gonna just get my screens printed at a print store but this showed me I could do it myself. Just gotta get inkjet transparencies and a printer

I am a screen printer also TC in most programs there more then one way to get the job done the way i posted with the color range then use the eye dropper select the color then use the slider to ensure the you get all of that color in the photo and it helps when people get more advance That is all I was saying they both work See You Sunday "TC" 3:30 TNT

Thank you TC for putting up this video. I have adobe elements 15 with photoshop. My version looks a little different than yours but the tools are still there. I recently started making t-shirts and I purchased a screen printing kit to start with. I haven’t been able to burn my images into my screen because I’ve had trouble editing my images on photoshop. So thank you for this video. I’m going to try the color separation....

It will probably work with vinyls but I do a different technique when I do vinyl.

Great tutorial i lover your videos.. I'm a full time embroiderer and want to start screen printing. can you recomend what type of ink to start with? Plastisol or water based inks.

I started with water based ink but now only use plastisol. With water based inks you don't need the chemicals to clean up the ink it washes away with water. For plastisol you will need chemicals to clean up the ink. Water based will dry by just being in the air then you can cure it with a heat press if you don't have a conveyor dryer. Plastisol ink will not dry unless you heat it up and it can be cured the same as the water based ink once it is dry to touch. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching

Great can you also do some video on dealing with halftones. Which printer would you recommend to have proper halftones printed on negatives? Can I use any canon Pixma inkjet printer?

Any photo quality printer should be able to handle halftones. I'll try to do a halftone video for you when I get a chance

The layer needs to be flattened first. You can act like u are going to use the erase tool and it will say it has to be flattened select yes. Then u should be able to do it

Hmm. Would you be able to help? When I copy the steps and select wand, left click, right click, layer copy. It only selects certain parts of the red color instead of all the red parts. Same with any color. Took me hours to separate 4 colors, because i had to select each tiny piece. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

check to see if contiguous is selected and you may have to select it if its not or unselect it if it is. That should fix the problem
