thank u for this my sister wants me to do jumbo knotless braids on her hair. i can already do small/medium sized so i wanted to watch somebody do jumbo just to get a better idea
I’ve done jumbo box braids using the rubber band method, but they made my head so itchy and sore . If I do my hair this way would the same thing happen??
It depends on the individual client’s hair. How thick their natural hair is, how thick you want the braid to be, and how long. It varies. I don’t have a specific amount. Each client is different.
I have 3c hair, i just did single plats and let it dry overnight. Then just brushed it out. So i dnt think her 3b/c hair would need it, also depends on her texture. Blowdried might cause sliding
The braids are nice really nice but her voice made my skin crawl I don’t know if she had the mic down her throat or what or just needed some water and didn’t want to stop or pause the video to get any but I wish she could’ve muted herself played some music and just showed us how to do the jumbo Knotless. Ugh I couldn’t even get through the entire video 🤦🏽♀️😩
