The NIKYO technique in Aikido is a principle of control of the attacker by destabilization through a cut to his wrist in a medium plane.
In this video, we will see how to apply NIKYO (both in Omote and Ura) against a shoulder grip 'KATA DORI' and highlighting common mistakes to avoid in its execution.
Also, some variations of this movement will be shown in front of the 'KIHON' or more extended base technique in Aikido.
