How to do Level work with Total Station when only one point are given in English(Fliex Line TS09Plus

This video I make for an answer to one question which one my Subscriber ask me. Question is how can work with Total Station for leveling work when the only point is given. in this case, we have two options one we can use this known point as a Station point, 2nd cause we can use this as a backsight points
1st cause we add the height of instrument and target or prism height so in this way we can get other elevation
2nd cause we put the height of prism & height of instrument & fix station elevation untill get same level of target

Hello Sir. I am an assistant to our surveyor. Just want to know if Leica TS30 has an Autoheight (instrument height) functionality? We are using Leica TS30, and our Lead Surveyor always enter the instrument height manually. Thanks a lot for the reply.

W Salam if you have Backsight elevation and same time you know height of prism or target then check the height of instrument and observe the backsight. after observe you can get some value on backsight check this heigh or low from your backsight then different add or subtract in station value until you get same value on backsingt

I don't have a Topcon but the method is same for example you have a point which levels given and you are using this point as backsight point after the set instrument observe that point and diff value you can add or subtract in station value

Amir Bhai I have total station of sokkia fx 103 When I am doing resection on it the scale factor is chaing directly to .9999999988 or 1.0000000012or something else my question is if I done the resection after that should I change the scale factor to 1.0000000or I should work on same scale factor plz explain in vedio your best regards surveyor Muhammad altaf Khan from ACC company west Africa camroon

Altaf Khan What scale factor you use during resection your instrument set on that( because this scale factor effect you distance ) for example you use scale 1.000125 and your back sight point is 300 meters away from your instrument its mean your actual distance & observe the distance have diff after 1 running 0.000125
