Erica can you upload an aerial tutorial? I’m really trying to work on mine but I can only keep my hands up during the first half, and when I hold something in my hands and try to do it my hips/legs don’t go high enough.
I’ve learned the aerial after 2.5 years of practicing. My tips are you definitely should have a perfect and super quick star/side walkover. Then try doing the aerial on the trampoline and then when doing on the ground try to jump as high as you can! Make your body go up, and not down when jumping into aerial. You can help that with your arms, try to push them up as well, throw yourself up basically and just turn your legs really quickly. It takes practice but you’ll get it if you keep working!! Good luck
It’s definitely a challenge! In order to achieve your goals, you have to push past your personal perceived limits and try new things. It gets easier with practice! You got this!!!!
this actually got me rlly flexible! thanks! i’ve never been good at middle splits. i’m really good at splits with my left leg in the front, so i realized i can stretch my right leg more to get them both as flexible which maybe could give me the middle splits
Erica Lin Hi thanks so much for all your help! I have a question After doing the stretch routine (it was really good for opening my hips) and then I held the middle splits for 15 minutes on the wall ( like a wall middle split) is this okay? or will I break something😬💕💕✨ thnx lysm!💕💕
I'm so glad, you are back! I've been losing my flexibility lately due to having a fever. And also i'm so close to my middle split thank you! I'll definitely check out all your other videos! ❤️☺️

I have a playlist with all of your stretching videos and I shuffle it an do a random stretching routine every day. I'm an aerialist, and the center I practice at is closed obviously, so I'm really trying to get more flexible and not let my muscles atrophy while on lockdown. Your videos are so amazing, and I've learned a ton of awesome stretches from your videos that I've never done in my aerial classes or my school PE class. Thank a bunch for the amazing variety :)

@@ericalinx I think she means the way the knees are bent . it is pretty bad for them , even if you are flexible, since knees aren't made to bend out like that

My friend is not that flexible and we do cheer so she really needs to know how to do the middle splits I do them perfectly so I searched how to do middle splits fast and we tried a bunch and they did not work like she's so close but she wasn't close at all but this one might work so I'm counting on you

The last chicken wing stretch was very difficult for me I could not get my elbows to go down and further because of how painful it was on the outer hip please give a tip kind of loose. Up my outer hip!
Sarah Dakota if you want to fully achieve the splits I recommend doing this 3-4 times a week! To avoid losing your splits, you should stretch and practice at least once in a while, though I prefer doing a routine daily!💕

thanks Erica I'm a girl I I finally learned my middle splits cause I quit gymnastics when I was 9 so I wanted to get my flexibility back in taught myself how to do a backbend a cartwheel hand stand and you taught me how to do a high Kick and middle splits I love u so much
@@ericalinx 2 types of dance shaffle but im thinking to pratice that later like until im flexible, modern dance that why im in dance class but they first showing me ballet to be more flexible.
