I gave some thought to why i respect your fitness content specifically. Simply put, its your ability of clearly convey your message. well spoken gentlemen . much respect
Been following your tips for a long time now, my physique and mentality have improved immensely. Especially push up and pull up for me are now piece of cake thanks to you and your videos.
i don't really watch the "10 minutes abs workout" kinda videos that he does , cause you know.....; but when he talks about bodyweight movements, i listen, cause the guy really, really knows his shit.
Hi Chris, had to let you know you've completely changed my life. 2 years ago I was fat and overweight, the thought of exercising used to tire me out. I had knee problems due to my weight and quite frankly life was very difficult. Then one day I came across an HIIT video of yours... I just wanted to reach that physique and that kind of started my journey in fitness. It took about a year to lose weight and get to a comfortable spot with my body, after which I began training for calisthenics strength. I've been training Calisthenics skills on and off for the last year and Ive seen massive progress... From barely being able to do 3-4 pull ups, 30 push ups and like 6 dips, Ive come to be able to do around 11-12 pull ups, 60 push ups and 25 dips. Not only have I become stronger, but more recently its been showing on my body, I have earned the respect of the same people who called me fat and made fun of me not 2 years ago. Some of the skills I have unlocked are also useful party tricks like the 90 degree hold and the L-sit. So once again, thank you Chris... All this change I owe to you big man!!
hey Chris. I am training harder than I ever thought possible, when I'm not digesting, I'm in the zone. I want to become strong, stronger than you even. you have been my inspiration, and there's no one I would rather meet in real life more then you, there's just so much I want to tell and ask you one day... its one of my dreams to have a long and beautiful talk about fitness with you. thank you for changing my view of life Chris, and all the best.
It's Been Almost A Year That I've Been Following Your Workouts And Tips, And Brother, I've Gotta Say You've Truly Changed My Life. Seriously Man, Thank You So Much For All That You Do For Us
Yo Chris I just want to tell you that I'm big fan and you inspired me to start callisthenics, for now I'm 1 year into it , thank you for everything you are the best keep going. Btw I'm really disappointed bc I missed the callisthenics event in Israel, I hope you will visit Israel another time in the future and do another event at the same place, so for now I will get stronger until the next time you come visit 💪
I might've missed it but it would be beneficial to mention how to breathe while doing pushups. Bad breathing can disrupt your core engagement. Newbies also tend to hold breath to keep core tight.
I do about 20 - 24 pushups per set. I use pushup bars, which allow me to go even lower. Progress in terms of increasing reps tends to be slow however, and at some point you will plateau. Might be better to focus on form and different push up variations.
currently at 20 push ups with perfect form. i noticed that when u lean forward ur traps and shoulder feel alot more pressure which will help in future with exercises like 90degree hold
I laugh every time you say even grandma can do it. If my grandma were still alive, I would use your videos to teach her, haha~😂 Although this may just be my bias, I still think your push-up posture is standard and graceful, which is really great!💯 It has always been my model and goal. At some point, I really tried to do 100 a day, but it was too tiring when combined with other exercises...😢 Thanks for the video, Chris 👍🏻
I liked the different variation Push up, use to have your app was able to see postive change in my body. Think going down load app again. I can do 25 push up with out stopping but took while to get to this point.
Honestly I love every video that you made and keep doing, but I have a big question to make you.. I had a moto's accident on 2018 and my principal wrist now it's stock after 4 medical operation..I was hoping to gain a bit of extension because I was at 0° with that before and with few of flexion, but unluckly the best solution that I had was to set a plaque on my wrist (dominant one >___
Is there other guys out there like me that works too much to possibly train? For me i work from 12pm-midnight, sleep by 2am, wake up at 10am, eat get ready for work and do another 12 hour shift again. On my weekends i play video games(2-6 hours/day/weekend), cook, meet with friends(rarely). The thing is, is that i cook for a living. Im on my feet for 12 hours a day, and i have adhd so my appetite is crazy high, i could eat 6 meals a day if i wanted to but i feel like i eat on average 2-3 meals/day with small multiple snacks. I eat more on my days off than i do when i work because i get to choose what i eat vs work chooses what i eat. By the time my weekend comes im wayyyy to physically and mentally tired to do anything to workout. I would love to workout 5xs/week but i just dont have a good work/life balance(i think). But i dont know what else i can do as a job to make $80k/year
