😂 your timing on this video is perfect. Another good video for a newb like me, thank you. Do you make the hole slightly larger so the glue can seep in, or does the glue sit on the top skin like a fine fillet weld?
You want the hole to fit as tightly as possible, superthin CA will wick into the tiniest cracks to glue the blade to the wingtip. This lets you transfer the load directly to the wing. Then build up the fillet after.
Carbon tow (not toe!). For example: www.easycomposites.co.uk/carbon-fibre-tow Thomas is suggesting cutting these long carbon fibres into tiny lengths and mixing them into the epoxy. Another alternative to the epoxy on the fillet is this rubber toughened CA: www.bsi-inc.co.uk/ic-2000tm-rubber-toughened-ca-1-2oz.html
