Martial arts are codified systems and traditions of combat practices, which are practiced for a number of reasons: as self-defense, military and law enforcement applications, mental and spiritual development; as well as entertainment and the preservation of a nation's intangible cultural heritage. I don't see wrestling possessing many of these qualities. Just saying.
@@Combatinho Takes incredible spiritual development to wrestle. Strength and discipline to survive practice alone will form a warrior spirit. There is no bogus belt system to sell you, but you are always being guided with the expectation that you will instruct the next class of wrestlers. It's a sport of brutes yes, but so are other martial arts. The wrestling culture in Iran, India, and Russia are definitely encompassing your romantic stance on what martial arts are.
It’s a double duck walk. That’s how I show it to my kids. It works great when your opponent is tired and leaning forward but you don’t want to tie up because he’s too dangerous. Take a shot at the far leg and duck walk the other way quickly. If the keep their hips square, blast them with a double from your toes. It’s a really great technique.
