Hot tip: everyone has different skin types, don’t tell someone they are doing too much or too little because everyone’s skin is different. Also I’m not talking to her I’m talking to the people that say she’s doing too much.
@@Pebblebrook its not like u know what their skin is going through and its not entirely useless if they know what these products does to their skin and if it works just like people who uses products to target their specific skin concerns
@@lo4568 Bro I'm imagining him cupping him hands under the water and throwing it up to his face but it not reaching his face. I don't know why that's so funny to me.
@@lo4568 Yeah that's cause we're young. Look at that recent video of an old woman that used SPF on her face but not her neck. It's crazy how much we can do for our skin by doing the most basic shit.
All you need is a basic cleansing face wash, and a normal face moisturizer (it's different from body moisturizer) and a sunscreen(spf more than 30). All these comes under 5 bucks. I know how you feel, in my country skincare products are expensive, even the most basic ones, all you have to do is to just save up for a month or 2 for it. Remember, first cleanse, then moisturize, then use sunscreen. If you do these 3 everyday, your skin will become perfect. (Do this 2 times a day, morning and evening/night. also, only use sunscreen in mornings)
I've been working on my skincare for 5 years and found some methods that really help my face skin look great: 1. Stay hydrated with plenty of water. 2. Apply fresh Aloe gel on your skin before bed. 3. Cleanse your facial skin with normal water and use litllextra riiceberry face wash wich contains black rice water and use it twice a day. 4. Drink bitter gourd and lauki juice to cleanse the body. 5. Lastly, stay happy! Your skin looks best when you are happy from inside.
Riceberry facial cleanser is amazing for my dry skin because it doesn't leave the skin cracking or drying after washing..it just leaves the skin smooth and hydrating..also, it is fragrance-free.. a must to have on your wash basin.
Personally, I like this RiceBerry face wash for my oily skin. It is not irritating for my skin. I also use it in my double cleansing method in my PM routine.
Toner goes on after the 2 step cleansing method or after any cleansing method. Toner helps other products more easily absorb into the skin and be more effective! Apply while your skin is slightly damp but not soaked. My skincare for my combo skin: 1. Oil cleanser 2. Water based cleanser 3. Chemical exfoliant like BHA or AHA 2x a week 4. Clay mask 2-3x a week (during the summer I'll gently steam my face beforehand 1-2x a week) 5. Toner (I use 2 different types depending on what season) 5. Spot treatment 7. Essence 8. Serum 9. Hydrating or calming face mask 1-2x a week 10. Moisturizer 12. Cream or balm 13. Sunscreen (daytime) But if someone desires a simple routine & it has the essentials... 1. Cleanser (If you have oily or combo skin oil the double cleansing method will be your bff) 2. Toner 3. Moisturizer 4. Sunscreen (daytime)
@@arisu2319 Not using sunscreen but having a skincare routine is like going to the gym but only eating cake tbh Like you’re trying but it’s counter productive to mess with your skin barrier, replenish it but then not even protect it especially when we start talking about introducing something like retinol
Same! Had horrible cystic acne for years before just switching to simple skincare, using sunscreen every morning, then every night wiping my face clean with a cotton pad and micellar water, then the gentle cetaphil cleanser and the cerave moisturizer. My face is near clear. I’ve never been happier. All skin is different, mine just loves simple skin care, that’s all.
Hiiii, it’s better not to exfoliate on a dry face (after double cleansing). Use a toner on your face before the chemical exfoliate for it to spread more evenly and it also add an extra layer/barrier to your skin.
No, it's recommended to apply on clean skin. Chemical exfoliants (aha/bha) work at a lower ph to exfoliate so they're less effective after toners/moisturisers since those also have their own ph and alter the skin's natural one. This is why it's good to find ph balancing cleansers but that's optional. Usually you're supposed to wait 15-20 mins after applying the acid before applying toner so the acids aren't neutralised before they actually exfoliate. You could leave it on for 30 but waiting after that is useless since the ph of the acid would have already risen to your skin's one by then. If your skin is sensitive or the acid is strong (like retinol), you can apply moisturiser/toner before as a barrier.
Mine skincare which i do sometimes (not everyday cause I'm lazy but i try to do this everyday) 1.sun tan remover (2 days in a week) 2.oil based cleanser (4days in a week) 3.clenser which my whole family uses 4.if i have pimple or something than only i use this cream which helps to clear our skin in just 1-2 days if we apply it when it's just small and 7 days when we apply it late and yes my whole family uses this too (everyday) 5.toner (i recommend it the most) (everyday!) 6.mosturizer (everyday) 7.sunscream (i recommend it the most)(i sometimes skip lol when i think i don't need it) 8.vaseline (everyday) / colour lipbalm (when I'm somewhere special) EXTRA- rice facemask- twice a week Some type of mask my family makes- 2 twice a week Some type of sand which is good for you- twice a month So yea....
Use sunscreen every day. Better than any expensive skincare and will also moisturise your skin and keep your skin healthy and youthful. I never used any skincare until I was over 40 and had dry itchy skin. Now I wished I had used daily sun protection all along.
as long as you use *something* after cleansing bc it washes away the oils that keep the water in your skin and even oily skin will dry out and not be at its best, it doesn't have to be moisturizer
Lol I usually brush my teeth before the makeup remover balm. I put on my whitening strips while I do everything else. Also, by “dont over do it” she probably means do once or twice a week and dont feel like you need your face to be raw after.
I would recommend brushing your teeth before you wash your face cause my dentist told me that the stuff in your mouth can get on your face and cause you to break out around your mouth. ❤️
Love you skincare routines please make lots more if you have the time because I realy like the order you do it and the products you use you skin look fabulous 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
youre eyes are super sensitive to retinol and so many dermatologist recommend eye cream first so there is a layer of protection on that super fragile skin. personally i even do eye cream and then a layer of vaseline before i apply. while applying retional directly on your eyes won’t be the end of the year it will definitely not be the best for the sensitive skin around your eyes and unnecessary.
Hi! So I’ve been struggling in my own skin lately and really want to get into skin care. I have SUPER SENSITIVE oily skin. How do I find out what products work best for me?
I'm a noob. But the simple start up is Morning: water based cleanser(or another type of gentle wash) , moisturiser, suncream Evening: oil based cleanser, moisturiser. Since you have oily skin mabye you can also use water based cleanser in the evening. The oil based is very good at removing makeup, sunscreen and oil build on your face throughout the day. Water based deals with sweat and dirt. Using 2 different types of cleansing is called double cleansing if you wanna look it up.
Thank you! I love this video! I get overwhelmed with all the products, but it helps to keep it simple so that you’re more likely to stick to a routine.😘
My brother has acne-prone skin and is very oily and sensitive. He told me he used to wash his face with soap bc his face will get very oily otherwise so I told him to stop and got him an oil cleanser. Only two days using it and his face stopped coating itself in oil. Just a piece of advice, soaps are very stripping and can cause real dmg to the skin because skin in general tends to be on the acidic side.
@@tesoroofall8499 Np! There are ppl who find out that their skin is actually dry but their skin is overproducing oil in an attempt to moisturize the skin, hence why they are so oily on the surface. So it is recommended by both estheticians and dermatologists to apply a moisturizer even if you have oily skin!
bestie that is wayy to many products for my brokee and acne prone skin Heres what i do at night after a day of makeup I double cleanse!! 1. Use cerave hydrating facial cleanser that removes makeup then #2 i go with my foaming facial cleanser by CeraVe ofcc
Wendy I Love How You Will Use Any Good Skincare Like Even If It's Cheap, You Would Still Buy It If It Works And You Love It, BUT GERALD NO, You Have To Buy Him Expensive Stuffs, You Guys Are THE PERFECT COUPLE, Two Opposites Are A Perfect Match (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
Why would u take skincare advise from her her skin without makeup is probably just as bad as some of u in the comments but then she puts makeup on and u r all like OMG SLAY QUEEN ITS GIVING
Tip!!! Only wash your face at night and then put moisturizer and stuff in it because it soaks into your skin overnight and if you wash your face in the morning, you just take out the moisture only wash your eyes
It also varies on the product. I have gotten lazy with my skincare routine and have wanted to tey drunk elephant decided to splurge and bought them. I really like their products because you can mix them together in the moisturizer which is genius so its basically one step i have to do lol but before i would do cleanse, toner, serums, and then moisturizers.
I do a long ass skin care routine because I find it fun & relaxing. If you dont enjoy doing it, and if you don't have major skin issues you're trying to address, you could just do a sunscreen in the morning, & then cleanser + moisturizer at night
I used to apply my serums after eye cream but recently I started applying the serums before. I didn’t realize I’m doing it the correct way now 😅 I’m glad I changed that habit unknowingly!
i’m 13 and here’s my routine (as someone who has been struggling with my skin for over a year) 1. cleanser 2. toner 3. salicylic acid serum 4. hyaluronic acid serum 5. snail mucin moisturizer 6. eye cream 7. eyelash serum 8. spot treatment + pimple patches
I use ordinary squalane cleanser then simple foamy cleanser. Then exfoliate. Then serums. then thick serums. Then moisturisers. Then eye cream and a lip mask xx
quick tip! if ur poor like me get coconut oil!! it’s literally good for everything skin wise and you can cook with it… anyways it takes off all your makeup super easily!! I have super sensitive skin so baby wipes and makeup wipes burn my skin and cause rashes so this is a great alternative!
Tysm! My skin care routine rn: 1. Wet my face 2. Creamy Cleanser from Andalou Naturals 3. Watermelon Toner from Glow Recipe 4. Moisturizer 5. Sunscreen (only in the morning) I do this right after I wake up and after I shower at night before bed. Is this any good? Lol Edit: Btw I'm broke
I also have this much skincare routine before when I have a lot of pimples and pimple marks. But now, all I do is wash my face twice a day. I only use micellar water and moisturizer if I have makeup on. And it works. It took a really long time but it's totally worth it. My pimple marks is fading, and I don't have any pimples right now. I guess it's true when they say "less is more".
Her skin care process Step 1. Use cleansers Step 2. Use Exfoliater Step 3. Use serums Step 4. Use cream and moisturizer Me: Step 1. Wash ur face That's it 😎
I don't wear makeup so I don't do the oil based cleansing balm. I have oily-combo acne prone skin. I use Pacifica's Acne line cleanser, then a micellar water, then Clearasil's Rapid Rescue Deep Treatment Pads, then benzoyl peroxide (BP) & salicylic acid (SA) with the Pacifica Pore Warrior Booster Serum and the ELF Clarifying Booster Drops all mixed on the back of my hand. Then I might go in with the ELF Super-Hydrate Moisturizer or the Matte+ Moisturizer or the Oil Control Liquid Lotion (OCLL). Sometimes I mix the last 2 or use the Matte+ in my t-zone and OCLL on my cheeks/under my eyes. 2-3 times a week I exfoliate with the Pacifica Acne Soft Scrub and the Pacifica Kale Cleanser in the shower. This works for me. Might be too much or not enough for others though. I'm not a professional in any way shape or form and no one helped me put together this routine so I can't say I recommend it. I do like all the products though and the Pacifica products have lasted well over a year. I go through the Clearasil pads every 2-3 months, the SA & BP every 3-4 months, the micellar water every 3-5 mo, and the moisturizers usually last 6-12+ months. And I prefer to use exfoliating cotton rounds for the micellar water bc the soft ones seem to just smear stuff around instead of lifting it off my skin. Plus it feels nice. I like both Pacifica and ELF skincare and have repurchased several ELF products. I haven't used the Pacifica stuff long enough to need to repurchase yet, but I'm just getting to that point with the soft scrub, the kale cleanser, and the Pore Warrior Serum. I also like the Pacifica Kale Clay mask, the Acne clearing astringent, Moon Water Night Time Complexion Tonic, Cosmic Renew AHA & Hemp Resurfacing Tonic, and the Acne line SA (LOVED) but I don't use (with the exception of the SA) them regularly enough to know how effective they are, compared to my daily/weekly products. I am 41 and people think I'm in my early 30s at the oldest.
skincare isnt the same as makeup, skin care keeps your skin from breaking out and doing things you dont want it to do when makeup usually covers your impurities/insecurities she wants her skin healthy so she needs skincare 🤷♀️
