Question: For the 3-rd party loops and samples, does this include Splice? Or is it just other loop makers from places like RU-vid?

If it’s a collab with another producer or from a royalty free place like splice you’re all good and don’t need to do it. Only time you do is if it’s uncleared (like if you sample a big song or a movie or something)

why would scheduling your beat or setting as a premiere hurt your views? Sometimes I'll make 3-4 beats in a day and I'll just schedule them so they drop once a day.

I recorded this last week, there’s an option on BeatStars studio to use the old one. Can’t remember where it is but it was easy to find. I’m not a huge fan of the new studio setup

I tried beatstars before but I was limited I could only upload like 10 beats on their website. It sucked cuz I didn’t have enough money or have an account to put all my money in.

Ahh yea the free version only lets you do 10. The pro version is well worth it when you can! For me it started paying for itsself a few months in

One tip id give is to sell a beat first costing anything over $10, so that you can get a beatstars membership, then put as many beats on there as you can, and try to sell more beats to keep it going. Obviously it’s easier said than done but keep in mind when you make that first sale, that’ll give you enough confidence to know you can sell more beats. And if you sell one, you can sell more.

Hi, does it really matter that you put the artists names in the title if you put it in the tags? I know there are some very successful producers who just put the name of the beat in the title and then put the artist the beat is inspired by in the tags and they get hella plays and sales. In other words : could you explain what you mean by "the Beatstars algorithm is a little weird" ? Thank you bro and fire tutorial. Very useful

Different things work for different people. Typically putting it in the title helps people better understand what kinda beat it’s going to be, but not everyone does it that way. As far as BeatStars, I don’t really understand their algorithm so I don’t want to misteach anything about it

Ah yeah I forgot to mention that in the video. Usually what works best for me is anywhere between Noon-4pm EST, but some people have better luck with other times. Try some different things out and see what your audience prefers!
